If so can you provide a link nearer the time? Last year it was a great meeting to watch.

I'm not sure about the Sanok Cup - maybe it'll be also televised ...
MParker873
Does anyone know the GPS co-ordinates for the round at Razuna in the Czech Republic on Saturday January 8th 2011? I am going to be working in the Czech Republic for the next few months (I fly out tomorrow) and Razuna looks roughly halfway from Brno where I am going to be staying and Prague. I have googled this a lot but cant get much info. If anyone can help with start times/admission/location I would be very grateful and would gladly share any photos I take. Matt I can't find any reference to this meeting being staged at all. The official FIM schedule is listed as; 15/01/11 FIM ICE RACING WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP AUT - QR 1 St Johann-im-Pongau 21/01/11 FIM ICE RACING WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP POL - QR 2 Sanok 22/01/11 FIM ICE RACING WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP AUT - QR 3 Saalfelden 05/02/11 FIM ICE RACING WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP RUS - FINAL 1 Krasnogorsk 12/02/11 FIM ICE RACING WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP RUS - FINAL 2 Togliatti 12/03/11 FIM ICE RACING WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP NED - FINAL 3 Assen 26/03/11 FIM ICE RACING WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP GER - FINAL 4 Inzell Are you saying there is a 'preliminary' round as well? Incidentally, do you have an alternate spelling of 'razuna' or a nearby location only Google, Wikipedia and other search engines fail to come up with a Razuna in the Czech Republic (or at least within the first god knows how many pages lol). UPDATE A quick read up of Czech Republic in Wiki mentions Ruzyně/Ruzyne ("Ruzyně is a district of Prague city, part of Prague 6. It has been a part of Prague since 1960") which in turn under Google gives an avalanche of returned results. I'd suggest you undertake another search using Ruzyně or Ruzyne. Now you are making things more confusing.I have already given the right name of the place. And it is given correctly some pages earlier by Dutchgrasstrack in the fixture list for the event. It is the same place that has previously hosted such meetings Looks like there are a number of lakes in the area,so without prior knowledge it might be best to go to the town and ask or follow a few cars/vans Going by the previous meeting(which might be a bad thing )it should start around 13:00....????? manchesterpaul
You'll not find any mention in the FIM list as it is the Czech Championship. Oops! apologies and an example of why one shouldn't enter a discussion at around page 9 lol. Regarding the spelling, i went Googling to assist the poster whose reply i was answering and he had spelt it Razuna, so i went with that trusting it to be correct. Unfortunately, as mentioned, that gave no joy even as a place. So i then did a Wiki of Czech Republic which made mention of Ruzyně and like DutchGrasstrack's Růžená gives lots of results. It's all Dutch's fault as he never spelt it on page 9 of the discussion which is where i came in lol. I was going to give a link to the official website of the place in question but it might trigger spelling wars as the links are all based on 'ruzena'.cz!!!!! Anyways, most people in the world believe in (a) God but have different names and beliefs for him, so we'll settle for we all believe in a particular Czech track. MParker873
Hi, thanks for your replies, my mistake I did spell it wrong, it looks as if Ruzyně is roughly hlafway between Brno where I live and Prague. I will keep a look out both on this forum and a Czech speedway site that I ahve been looking at. Its not very cold here right now and It would need to cool considerably to get ice thick enough to hold ice speedway. Heres hoping!

I've been looking for a while for the Klatovsky brothers web site or the web site for their bar which links to it. If you can find that then you'll get all the details for the Czech meetings as they used to carry them. Hope this helps? f-s-p
You should to believe Mama. He was present as a journalist in Gniezno... I've been present as a journalist many times and still got them wrong! That was not the question though. I dont know how the live updates worked, but usually I do trust (most of) them... I guess I'll go with Mama's report then, since Mark Uzzell clearly did not finish second in heat three. If he really was excluded, the ref was an idiot. My brother recently picked up on his ice hockey ref career and has been getting some decent games this season. Anyway, as the juniors gain size they usually do more stupid things and I told him that he should always remember that if he himself does something wrong in the rink, it can be in youtube within minutes... Like with this one, the ref cant really talk his way out of this one... (if he did exclude him) EDIT2: Any idea about the size of the crowd? Looked decent...
