Bradford Ace
Understand the new league table for the play offs but how come ZG are at home in 1st leg when they won the play off league as presumed they'd want to be at home in 2nd leg?? Notice that Leszno have 2nd leg at home so is it to do with where you finished at the end of 14 matches rather than the play offs??

I was surprised as well. Notice that Leszno have 2nd leg at home so is it to do with where you finished at the end of 14 matches rather than the play offs?? YES, exactly. The play-off rules are so complicated that even I get confused sometimes. The sooner they change this whole league system the better for everyone. Mateusz
or darcy wards And Ward was using Pulczynski's bikes today? They changed them just for fun or what? Edited August 25, 2010 by Mateusz

It doesnt matter if you win on aggregate either over the 2 legs as no bonus points so Wroclaw just had to make sure they didnt lose by more than Tarnow did to get through. Would have been interesting if Wroclaw had got 5-1 in heat 15 as would have been level then & presumably a run off to see who was 3rd & who was lucky loser!! Think both would rather ride ZG than Leszno so they would both have probably wanted to lose it!!! Looking forward to sunday now, should be 2 interesting meetings
Mateusz
(...) No run-off cause if in case of level (52-38 in both matches) the winner of this pair would be Wroclaw (because they finished higher after 14th round). But seriously - this system is so f..ked up

ladyluck
Found it strange Crump wasnt used as a tac substitute during this match ?? I guess Marek Cieslak must still be manager of Wroclaw? He missed a Joker opportunity during the SWC Final, although Poland did ultimately prevail. Or maybe it suited Wroclaw to lose big enough to not face Leszno. That said, I think Zielona Gora will defeat Wroclaw easily enough and that the Torun-Leszno meetings could be the more compelling.
