bluejam
Any ideas who'll be riding who on September 5th in the play offs(obviously one result to be confirmed after the rain off)?Thinking of going over to Poland for one of the semi-finals on that weekend. Completely forgot about that World U21 Team Cup at Rye House. There is an empty weekend on 12th Sept in Poland with no teams scheduled to ride.Maybe, just maybe, the outstanding fixtures would be on that weekend. Fixer2
As we thought Matt has just confirmed the cancellation of Wednesday's challenge at Poole, however...as a mark of appreciation Torun have offered to start the 2011 season at Poole with a challenge match Poole V Torun. Nice gesture
ladyluck
Yes, very good of Torun. The only problem is what sort of team would they send? After all, one would imagine that Chris Holder and Darcy Ward would figure in Poole's plans for 2011. If they are in Torun's plans it could turn out to be a rather weak Torun team that comes to Wimborne Road.

Gotta remember that the owner of Torun has already sent out a warning that unless they win against Wroclaw he will be reconsidering the contract of every rider in the team for 2011... So, there is no guarantee that Holder and Ward will be in the Torun team next year
Mateusz
Ward's already said it's very unlikely he will be racing for Torun next year. Guess he doesn't enjoy being suspended from time to time Any ideas who'll be riding who on September 5th in the play offs(obviously one result to be confirmed after the rain off)?Thinking of going over to Poland for one of the semi-finals on that weekend. You won't know until Wednesday evening. As for the U-21 Team World Cup - don't know about the other teams but Bydgoszcz are racing against Czestochowa in the race-off. Cz-wa will be missing Woffinden and Bridger.

Though not my favourite, but don't forget Hans Andersen who is in this year's line-up as well.
davidba
Though not my favourite, but don't forget Hans Andersen who is in this year's line-up as well. And with MJ Jensen thats a good 5 riders and dont forget Poole will have to lose probably 2 riders for 2011.At reserve Torun may well have the Pulczynski brothers, but in my never ending search for riders i haven't seen before i'm hoping the likes of Pietrykowski,Wojiechowski and Przedpelski come over!! It would be interesting to hear how those names would be pronounced by a British announcer? Or in fact, any Western European announcer.
