Paulco
Hi all does anyone know what happened to american eric carrilo, came over to the uk a few years back but seems to have disappeared since??? is he still racing??? thanks Was a bit of a favourite with the fans in his short stint with Glasgow in 2004 . Was told he became very homesick though . During Shane Parker's testimonial in 2005 at Glasgow , Sam Ermolenko was asked what had became of Eric . Sam said he had given speedway up altogether and spends all his time fishing .

Eric was a real talent, but he went into the EL far too early. Shame Steve Evans can't get him out of retirement. Could ride as a Brit as his mother is English! SuddenSam15
Eric has a brother Mark who was still racing in July 2009 and can also be found on Google under "Mark Carrillo Speedway"
