jules m
Im sure no rider can be signed who is already in a sides "official" 1-7 after 31st August. So If Tim isn't in a decleared teams 1-7 he can sign for Newport to replace Mark Jones. I think thats how the rules go . But then again this is Speedway That clears that up then lol I did get told the other day that the reason why Weymouth couldn't sign the Aussie Tom Armstrong was because there are only allowed to be 12 Aussies in the NL anyone else heard of this

semion
If Mark Jones is on his way home, why cant they just sack him and bring Webster straight back, after all he is available for the rest of the season ?

Jayne
Morris and Branford both have British passports, Kurtz and Anderson both have patriality so they dont count in the maximum number of Commonwealth riders permitted in the NL. Pinny
I admit alot of confusion has been caused over the past few weeks regarding Webster and Priest and it would be interesting to read a full press release from both the Newport promotion and Webster. I can only assume something happened behind the scenes as replacing a fully fit Webster with Priest is quite baffling.
BigFatDave
Reading the Horrible Heathens v Mighty HORNETS thread it looks like Tim is about to be welcomed back to the nest - great news for Club and Rider.
