Anders
SWEDISH ELITSERIEN ROUND 15 Tuesday August 10th 2010 LEJONEN - VÄSTERVIK at Axelent Arena, Gislaved The Lions recorded an impressive win at Piraterna last week, and would like to take that form home to Gislaved. They'll have to do it without Troy Batchelor who got injured at Piraterna, and his fellow Aussie Dave Watt will also be missing, after scoring a single point in Motala. Instead, Nicki Pedersen is welcomed back into the line-up, alongside home town hero David Ruud. Peter Ljung has been scoring well this season, but Västervik will have to ride without him in Tuesday night's fixture, due to an injury picked up at Ipswich last Thursday. Also, the potential replacement of Rafal Okoniewski is still injured, meaning that Denis Gizatullin will make his Västervik debut at reserve. Lejonen (home) 1. Chris Holder 2. Leigh Adams 3. David Ruud 4. Nicki Pedersen 5. Mikael Max 6. Artur Mroczka 7. Dennis Andersson ( 8. Oliver Berntzon ) Västervik (away) 1. Tomasz Jedrzejak 2. Joonas Kylmäkorpi 3. Chris Harris 4. Nicolai Klindt 5. Tomasz Gollob 6. Robin Messing 7. Denis Gizatullin ( 8. Robin Bergqvist ) *-*-* INDIANERNA - VALSARNA at ICA Maxi Arena, Kumla The Indians rides in their first meeting since July 13th, and they looks to be at full strength for this one. Gustafsson/Gafurov will make a strong partnership at reserve, while Marcus Johansson makes his first start as a number eight junior, without scheduled rides. Valsarna rode a fairly solid meeting against the strong Elit Vetlanda side last week, before losing by a twelve point margin, but for this one they'll miss the Russian ace Grigorijs Laguta. He will be replaced by countrymen Roman Povazhny, a former Indianerna rider. Also, after scoring heavily as a second string, Seb Ulamek will get bigger responsibilities as a heat leader. Indianerna (home) 1. Niels-Kristian Iversen 2. Bjarne Pedersen 3. Piotr Protasiewicz 4. Grzegorz Walasek 5. Magnus Zetterström 6. Simon Gustafsson 7. Renat Gafurov ( 8. Marcus Johansson ) Valsarna (away) 1. Tomasz Gapinski 2. Krzysztof Jablonski 3. Daniel Nermark 4. Roman Povazhny 5. Sebastian Ulamek 6. Victor Palovaara 7. Henrik Gustafsson ( 8. Anders Mellgren ) *-*-* ROSPIGGARNA - PIRATERNA at Orionparken, Hallstavik They went down fighting in Målilla last week, this time Rospiggarna heads home to Orionparken. Przemyslaw Pawlicki top scored with a 12 paid 15 at Dackarna, but has been replaced by Sebastian Aldén, with Mads Korneliussen dropping to reserve. I actually don't know if Pawlicki is unavaiable or not, but he has been riding poorly at home (2.00 home average in 12 heats compared to a 7.24 away average in 21 heats), so scratching him doesn't come as a surprise anyway. The Pirates should be looking to bounce back from the ugly home loss to Lejonen. The Motala outfit are at full strength, and also with several former Rospiggarna riders (Kosciecha, Hancock, Davidsson, Janowski) in the line-up. On paper, it should be a nice walk in the park, though in speedway, one never know... Rospiggarna (home) 1. Jesper B Monberg 2. Kauko Nieminen 3. Wieslaw Jagus 4. Sebastian Aldén 5. Ryan Sullivan 6. Anton Rosén 7. Mads Korneliussen ( 8. Linus Lydin ) Piraterna (away) 1. Rafal Dobrucki 2. Robert Kosciecha 3. Greg Hancock 4. Antonio Lindbäck 5. Jonas Davidsson 6. Linus Sundström 7. Maciej Janowski ( 8. Tomas Bäck ) *-*-* VARGARNA - ELIT VETLANDA at ICA Maxi Arena, Norrköping Despite losing at Västervik last Tuesday, Vargarna have opted for the same riders as then, with the exception of the number eight junior, now being Sebastian Carlsson. However, the rolling average dictates the change that Scott Nicholls drops to reserve while talanted Dane Michael Jespen Jensen takes a place in the main body of the team. Elit Vetlanda have opted for the line-up that should've been used at Hagfors. Seven days ago, Adrian Gomolski wasn't able to take his place in the team, but comes back at number seven, pushing Jonas Messing to the position as the number eight junior. At a track were Elit Vetlanda usually struggle, Lee Richardson has heat leader duties at number one, while Janusz Kolodziej drops to a second string position. Vargarna (home) 1. Adrian Miedzinski 2. Adam Shields 3. Tai Woffinden 4. Michael Jepsen Jensen 5. Krzysztof Kasprzak 6. Kim Nilsson 7. Scott Nicholls ( 8. Sebastian Carlsson ) Elit Vetlanda (away) 1. Lee Richardson 2. Janusz Kolodziej 3. Jaroslaw Hampel 4. Thomas H Jonasson 5. Jason Crump 6. Robin Aspegren 7. Adrian Gomolski ( 8. Jonas Messing ) *-*-* Vargarna vs Elit Vetlanda is the Canal+ fixture of this round. As usually, all meetings should be covered via live updates on www.speedway.nu from 19:00 local time.

M.D
THJ took Shields out in the first run... Did you see Shields spokes on his front wheel after he hit him twice? In the second run Scott was a bit harsh on THJ but in the third, what was going through THJ's mind??? To look at Scott that way before tapes up and do that, well I'm sorry but what a silly boy he is...
