SWEDISH ELITSERIEN ROUND 14

Tuesday August 3rd 2010

DACKARNA - ROSPIGGARNA

at G&B Arena, Målilla

League leading Dackarna with 1 loss in 13 meetings at home against last placed Rospiggarna with 1 win in 11 attempts, that doesn't seem to be a close one, with Dackarna being at full strength as well.

No major changes have been made in the Rospiggarna camp, as team manager Mikael Teurnberg has opted for the same riders as the home meeting against Dackarna. However, the rolling average dictate one change, as Kauko Nieminen takes a place in the main body of the team, and Przemyslaw Pawlicki dropping to reserve.

PIRATERNA - LEJONEN

at Biltema Arena, Piraterna

The Pirates must still be on a high after winning at Lejonen two weeks ago, and will be looking to cement their top three position with another win over fourth placed Lejonen. They'll do it with the same riders as last time.

Lejonen have opted for a couple of changes in their quest to chase down third place. Piotr Swiderski and David Ruud, who scored a combined 7 points at home, have been replaced by Leigh Adams and Artur Mroczka, as Nicki Pedersen is obviously still unavailable.

VALSARNA - ELIT VETLANDA

After having problems agreeing with Grigorijs Laguta for an economical adjustment in his contract following Valsarna's financial problems, that's now been solved and Laguta is now back in the line-up. He's replacering Czech Matej Kus who scored only 1 point in 3 outings at Elit Vetlanda.

Elit Vetlanda can welcome back British WTC rider Lee Richardson who have missed two meetings, at least one due to illness. Adrian Gomolski also steps in at reserve, leaving last meeting's second string duo of Martin Vaculik and Patrick Hougaard outside of the line-up, while Thomas H Jonasson takes a place in the main body.

VÄSTERVIK - VARGARNA

at Sparbanken Arena Västervik

Rafal Okoniewski steps back into the Västervik team after being left out of the Vargarna fixture away, pushing Robin Messing down to the junior eight position. Also, Joonas Kylmäkorpi gets another chance in the line-up after scoring a credible 7 points, meaning that Nicolai Klindt, who made a late withdrawal last time, is left out.

After a somewhat slow start, Vargarna have got going, and now they're boosted by the return of Tai Woffinden, stepping in at second string. Michael Jepsen Jensen moves down to reserve to replace Freddie Eriksson, who was a late replacement for Adam Skornicki in the home fixture two weeks ago.

does anyone have a weather update for motala???

klart.se: Rain all day, a bit heavier towards the evening (2 mm/h)

yr.no: overcast with the possibility of rain until 21:00 this evening

smhi.se: light rain from 14:00 to 20:00

It's just as usual, the three websites shows three different forecasts, but in general, it doesn't look very good, does it?

I think they'll do whatever they can to get it underway, as long as it stops raining, and that forecast does look better. Dackarna vs Rospiggarna will be a walk over, as you say, so I would personally take my chances with Motala, if those were my options.

The weather has been kind to us. I'm going to enjoy this. Love the coverage, even though i don't understand a word. Thanks to Wocky for a great stream. Enjoy. Alan
