brandonbee48
Today's Final at Vojens would have been a far better spectacle if the first 6 heats had been run AFTER 6 races with juniors as a curtain-raiser. By the time we got to heat 7 the track was providing some good racing lines and from then on we got racing. For heats 1-6 for the most part it was gate and go or get filled in. The youngsters wouldn't complain at the exposure and experience . If dry, a junior post-script to the main event. Chugging through slime is not what a World Championship should be about. I know it is the same for everyone but it is speedway RACING . Regards. Alan.

ladyluck
Why ask juniors, with much less experience, to race in potentially dangerous conditions? Furthermore, by the end of the meeting the track was very slick and much less passing. If the wet track had been "bedded in" before the serious action started, we'd have brought that final "slick phase" forward by six heats. ballinger
Or how about Olsen invests some capital into the stadium and builds a dome over it, and whilst he's at it maybe add some terracing instead of the grass banking ? Given it's 35 years old very little has been done to the place in the past 20 years. You only have to look at the beauty of the stadium at Gorican (which itself is shortly getting a roof) to realise that stadiums in fields, or in Vojens case an industrial estate, are moving into the 21st century, and in 2010 the paying public, at whatever the event, whether it be Speedway or something else, deserve something better than what Vojens currently offers. universal18
what a joke...nothing like putting the lambs to the slaugter! you don't honestly think that putting kids or youngsters out on a track like that, just to dry it up a bit for the "seniors" is a good idea??? we should be nurturing the juniors not killing them!
