BigFatDave
Right, down to the nitty-gritty with the sudden death Race-off coming up. Going on the form from the qualifiers, home team Denmark look to be in the box seat for mine, with the new-look Oz youngsters giving them a run for their money. AJ's still doubtful for the Swedes, leaving them with a two-man team, while Russia without Emil are destined to go out here. It'll be interesting to see what sort of a track we're presented with for this one.
salty
Should be a cracker. According to Sam last night, Pedersen is definitely a non-starter, but I still favour the Danes on own "shale". Swedes will bring in someone to replace Nermark, hopefully THJ, and will go close. The Aussies I guess will look at replacing Ward and Schlien who were their weaker links last night, but will probably find Vojens will suit them more. Russians without Emil look like the outsiders, but don't forget they did beat the Danes at Vojens last year, and the other guys showed they were capable of getting round there. Personally, they are the ones I'll be rooting for. edited: Just read on the other thread that THJ is no go, maybe one of their other young riders? iris123
Don't think the Swedes have a decent replacement for Nermark.Ljung and Ruud have done some meetings in Denmark over the past seasons.Any of the youngsters will also struggle.Dennis Andersson maybe as he has done a number of Danish Superliga meetings. Is it worth throwing him in?Probably not.Think Denmark should do this and it will be between the Russian(who i hope show the form of last year)and Oz.Could be a good tight meeting and looks like the weather won't spoil the party this week South Jutland weather

Vincent Vega
Will the Lakeside Lad Adam Shields be in the Oz side for this one? I was surprised Boycey didnt use him at Saddlebow Road last night as he is a better rider than Schlein.

Agree, although I wanted Ty Proctor to be given a ride as he is a bit of a track specialist at Kings Lynn which is not surprising given his style. Shields and Adams in for Ward and Schlien? Panthers99
Id keep Rory in the line up, Rory goes well around Lakeside, same kind of track to Vojens. Ward is the major worry, Shields for him, as Adams wont ride in the WTC imo.
BritPete
You can't fault Rory for effort, but I happen to think that Shields is a tad better. Lakeside track length: 252 m. track record, 56.8. Vojens track length: 300 m, track record, 57.2. I don't think there is another track on earth that's like Lakeside.
Panthers99
Cant argue with that facts there. Thought Vojens was smaller than that, still, with how slick its probably going to be, Id like to see Rory given the go ahead.

You're probably thinking of the 80cc track next door which is about 200m.If it was held there then got to agree, give Rory a chance
hyderd
Have I missed something, why no P Karlsson, with PK in then the Swede's could be the spoiler to the party.

youngy105
Does anyone know when the FIM Jury get their fingers out of the backsides and decide on which team wears what helmet colour for the Race Off? I need it to finish off the updates template.

I need it to finish off the updates template. From SpeedwayGP site Meanwhile, the draw for the Race-Off at Vojens sees Denmark don the white helmet covers. Australia race in red, Russia in blue and Sweden in yellow and black.

Ghostwalker
Sweden will bring 7 riders to Vojens and the 5 riders will be picked after the practice. I'm pretty sure that Lindgren, Davidsson and Jonsson will ride Then Lindbäck, Zorro, THJ and Nermark will fight for the remaining two spots.
