who was riding for YS. no Darren, Cal or Lewis. Suprised Cal wasn't riding. Thought YS would have had priority over a reserve berth at an individual meeting, mind it is a long way to have to travel from way up there in bonny Scotland but that is the price you pay being a speedway rider :D

Team was Simon Lambert, Adam Lowe, Scott Campos, Jake Knight, Chris Widman and Rhys Naylor with RR for Darren Mallett. Scott broke down on the way and then when he got going, got caught up in traffic on the M5. He definitely missed his first ride but not sure if he got his second.

There was some good racing on a much improved surface as a result of blading, but not much joy if you moved off the white line.

Thankfully after all his problems, Rhys came through unscathed after a steady start.

Scores taken from the Plymouth Press Release

Plymouth: Nicki Glanz 12 (4 rides), David Gough 2+1 (4), Seemond Stephens 10 (4), Matt Bates 8+2 (5), Mark Simmonds 10+1 (4). Reserves: Jaimie Pickard 11+2 (5), Ben Reade 6+1 (4).

King’s Lynn: Simon Lambert 16 (6), rider replacement (for Darren Mallett), Jake Knight 9+2 (6), Scott Campos 4 (4), Adam Lowe 6 (5). Reserves: Rhys Naylor 0 (4), Chris Widman 1 (5).

Fantastic score for Jake Knight! Been happy with his scoring this season, even though I've not been to an NL meeting since, er, April? icon_redface.gificon_lol.gif Good to see he's still going OK.

It was a milestone night for Jake. He rode at No 3 for his first heat-leader slot, and took Black and White for a tactical ride and rode in Heat 15 both for the first time. Add in a rider replacement ride in Heat 1 and that score looks even more impressive!

Well done Jake
