Press Release from Plymouth: Wednesday July 14, 2010 PLYMOUTH continue an important run of four National League matches in 12 days when they face the Isle of Wight at the St Boniface Arena on Friday evening (7.30pm). It gives the Devils a chance of quick revenge following Tuesday’s 52-41 defeat away to the Islanders. Plymouth have two more crucial fixtures in their bid to reach the championship play-offs with a home match against King’s Lynn on Friday July 23 followed by a visit to bottom on the table Weymouth on Saturday July 24. The Devils retain an unchanged line-up from Tuesday. David Gough is still sidelined with a collarbone injury and the rider replacement facility will again be in operation. The Islanders will be without number one Nick Simmons, who is unavailable, and use Dudley’s 19-year-old Australian Micky Dyer as a guest replacement. He top-scored for the Somerset Giants on their recent visit to the St Boniface Arena. Dyer and former Plymouth rider Ben Hopwood will be supported by Danny Warwick, Brendan Johnson and 43-year-old Ricky Scarboro with Dean Felton and Tom Hill at reserve. Plymouth: Seemond Stephens, Matt Bates, Paul Starke, rider replacement, Mark Simmonds. Reserves: Jaimie Pickard, Ben Reade. Hill retired on the 1st bend with an engine failure after missing the gate. Hopwood though charged hard and passed Reade up the inside of bend 1 lap 4 with a cracking move.
