Northside - British Under-15 Championship

Recommended Posts

I hear that this Saturday afternoon sees the third round of the 2010 British Under-15 Championship taking place at Northside in Workington, starting at 3 o'clock.

The last three years it has been there have been really good. Does anybody have any more info about line-ups or how many races there will be?

I assume that there will be 500cc and 250cc again but I have been told that there will also be a new 125cc class as well.

Looking forward to it again this year, then over to Derwent Park to see the Comets take on Somerset at 7 o'clock.

Bet you're glad you were there to see Adam win this round Halifax :D

Just wish I'd been there too. Well done Adam, brilliant result.

Definitely :D:approve:

I must admit things didn't always look good with a lot of wind and rain about but by the time the meeting started the sun had decided to put in an appearance although it remained cold.

I was very impressed with the set up and the people who run Northside deserve a great deal of credit. I understand they are a little short on funds which is a huge shame, and I hope that their little circuit gets the recognition it deserves.

Best performance from young Mr Kirby yet and would have been even better had he not clouted the home straight fence less than 6 feet from the finish line.

Many congratulations Adam, dad Paul, mum Julie (both highly nervous and highly excitable at the same time :D ), sister Bethany and girlfriend Amy. It has always been a privilege and pleasure to be part of the set up and I hope and believe that could be the first of many. :approve:

As always these British U15 Championships don't get the recognition that they deserve with the media seemingly embarrassed to publish results.

Is there any kind soul out there that could find the time to post them here on the forum.

Thank you very much.

Mike
