KrisB
I understand security were confiscating certain types of airhorn last year. Can someone advise what to look out for as I intend to buy some in the City Centre on Saturday.

As long as you get a non-flammable type you will be fine, the tickets state flammable are banned and that non flammable ones from the millenium stadium will be fine, it doesnt actually state YOU MUST BUY A MILLENIUM SOLD AIR HORN, so the last few years stewards have stopped me i point out its non flammable and they say no problem and have let me take them in !! SimonB
I need a vuvuzela for Saturday! Oh please no! Recently got back from South Africa and they are the most annoying things I have ever heard, complete drone, no musical aspect at all and people in front of the players get covered in spit. maneacat
I need a vuvuzela for Saturday! Try a Toy Shop assuming you want it for a child - because that's all they are - a cheap plastic child's toy

Most, if not all, of the ones sold by the street traders are the inflammable ones and you won't be allowed in the stadium with them. (you can spot the inflammable ones as they have the warning sign on the cannister). The Millennium Stadium sell the permitted non-flammable ones (at a hefty price). Other than that you might have to find a camping shop or something to buy a permitted non-flammable one.

emzey01
Does this mean Vuvuzelas have not been banned from the stadium? I know alot of places have banned them for events, although with thousands of airhorns going off you cant really complain about the noise. Silver Bee
Flammable and inflammable mean the same thing. Odd policy to allow one but not the other.
