SWEDISH ELITSERIEN ROUND 11

Tuesday July 6th 2010

ROSPIGGARNA - VARGARNA

at Orionparken, Hallstavik

After some time on the injury list, Rospiggarna can welcome back Jesper B Monberg into the line-up, replacing Kauko Nieminen. Other than that, it's a pretty much expected line-up, with Ben Barker left out of the line-up after scoring 20 points in 27 heats so far.

Vargarna comes from a hammering at Lejonen, and makes two changes to find their winning ways again. Adam Skornicki and Tai Woffinden are replaced by Krzysztof Kasprzak and Adam Shields. On a personal note, I find it a bit surprising that former Rospiggarna rider Adam Skornicki is left out of the team, at a track where he usually goes well.

INDIANERNA - DACKARNA

at ICA Maxi Arena, Kumla

After getting severly beaten at home by Elit Vetlanda, the Indians will look to bounce back as they have another home meeting. Magnus Zetterström is back from his thumb injury, replacing Niels-Kristian Iversen in the main body of the team. That change makes it possible for the management to make another change, at reserve, as Renat Gafurov replaces Daniel Jeleniewski.

Dackarna are at full strength so rides with their standard line-up, though Tim Gudmundsson replaces Joel Larsson at the position as number eight junior.

VALSARNA - PIRATERNA

at Emtbjörks AB Arena, Hagfors

Valsarna comes from one home meeting to another, and will look to break their unfortunate four meeting home losing streak. Chris Slabon replaces Roman Povazhny, and Anders Mellgren makes his comeback from injury, starting at the number eight position. Also noticable in the Valsarna camp is that the club have opted to cut the admission prices, to attract more people through the turnstiles.

Emil Sayfutdinov and Jonas Davidsson are still out of the line-up for Piraterna, but Linus Sundström is a welcome addition as the junior at reserve, moving Tomas Bäck to number eight, with no scheduled rides.

ELIT VETLANDA - VÄSTERVIK

at Vetlanda Motorstadion

After four straight 55+ points meetings, Elit Vetlanda find no reason to change the line-up to this home meeting. Well, except that Jacob Thorssell replaces Jonas Messing as the number eight junior. Janusz Kolodziej once again rides as a heat leader, with Lee Richardson at a second string position.

Västervik have, since a while back, found their standard line-up among their choices within the squad. With Tomasz Gollob and Chris Harris in good form, and second strings Peter Ljung and Tomasz Jedrzejak riding at their former home track, Elit Vetlanda should be pushed to reach 55 points for a fifth straight meeting.

also reported on speedwayGP website that Valsarna have financial problems.

Thta is "old" news. Its been obvious for weeks now that Valsarna have problems since

the supporters stays at home rather then going to the meetings.

Also i've read that Gollob is "Injured" and won't ride for Västervik tomorrow.

VV will use RR for him.

Anders,I had my first look at young Robin Aspegren yesterday, and my first impression was that he`s quite quick

He adapted quite well to the Newport track, and wasn`t really troubled in his three race wins.

Looks to have a little bit more about him than Anders Mellgren in my opinion.

Superb stream

Echo that, my friend. Also looks like a good crowd also, especially considering the World Cup Semi coming up. Also looks like the crowd would exceed Eastbourne's for the season judging by last night. Enjoy everyone. Alan.

I cant find any other stream either

What a shame. Was a close meeting. Not fabulous racing, but enjoyable with the close score. Ah well. World Cups only come round once every 4 years. Alan.
