Silver Bee
What a load of rubbish If this was only ever meant to be a regular ELRC, fair enough, but the fact the BSPA have bigged this up as something different, what an utter disappointment. Doubt I'll bother.
21st century heathen
I hope they have the decency to offer a full refund to anyone that bought tickets in advance, but I doubt it.
Blazeaway
I hope they have the decency to offer a full refund to anyone that bought tickets in advance, but I doubt it. To be honest anyone stupid enough to have bought tickets in advance ought to be made to pay again!!!
salty
Wonder if there will be any official word as to why the RSVP's all said "Sorry, can't make it". The Super 7 concept looked like it might have some legs when it first came in, but this year has been pretty wick. Looks like the old ELRC to me - wonder how many of this original 16 end up missing it.
gypilgrim
This line up looks the same as the pairs, just without team riding, and we all know how that turned out. The only factor in this meeting is how they decide to prepare the track, extra grippy or stupidly slick, place your bets accordingly. If the BSPA really wanted GP riders over here why don't they organise a GP select tour, for example GP Select Team 1- Nicki Pedersen 2- Emil Sayfudtinov 3- Jaroslaw Hampel 4- Greg Hancock 5- Tomasz Gollob 6- Rune Holta 7- Andreas Jonsonn NO8- Davey Watt against Elite League Select Team 1- Hans Andersen 2- Chris Harris 3- Chris Holder 4- Freddie Lindgren 5- Leigh Adams 6- Adam Shields 7- Scott Nicholls NO8- Tai Woffinden and they can go to 5 tracks, e.g. Peterbrough, Poole, Wolves, Belle Vue and Swindon. To cover a majority of england. This is just an idea and is an example of what could possibly be done! P.S. If the you read this, BSPA, i'm very reasonable and will accept 20% of the profits!!!! hahaha, who am i kidding! A great idea that wouldn't happen in a month of Sundays, unfortunately. To get that set of riders over to Britain for a week of meetings would cost an arm and a leg, and the BSPA ran out of limbs a long time a go. salty
Are we going to play our annual game of who pulls out of the meeting? I'll start. Zagar... Richardson wins, according to a post on the EL section he's out for the season. Probably the first of many....
DSC67
As there aren't 16 teams in the Elite league , so they need to add extra riders to make the field up , shouldn't one of those places go to the winner of the PLRC ? essaitch
As there aren't 16 teams in the Elite league , so they need to add extra riders to make the field up , shouldn't one of those places go to the winner of the PLRC ? Be patient, it's usually half PL riders by the time it happens! Must be the biggest muck up ever, not sure whether they ever intended it to be different?? When they first announced the name change I assumed it was so they could slot in the usual PL riders, looks like my thoghts were correct! 21st century heathen
To be honest anyone stupid enough to have bought tickets in advance ought to be made to pay again!!! That's fair comment. Richardson wins, according to a post on the EL section he's out for the season. Probably the first of many.... Yes, I spotted that. I didn't even know he'd had a crash this week. em1500uk
Undecided as to whether I'll be going now or not It's still a decent line up mind you, but with the whole thing being hyped up to take 7 other riders that weren't currently riding in this country and now none are in the line up, it's kinda put a dampener on the whole event... dirt
if KB can only muster 1 point against Sweetman, Pawlicki and Bridger, you really think he'll go through the card against this line up The only thing that rings alarm bells is why is Woffinden their? If they are gonna try to make a good field why wreck it with silly inclusions. What was his avg again. Seems they are getting him used to the charity mentality, and I hope it doesnt backfire for the young lad.

T.N.T.
Obviuosly I would love Fredrik Lindgren to win this but for his years of service it would be great if Leigh Adams can go out in style and lift the title. Although he has had a poor season, I think Peter Karlsson could be a suprise runner for this as he loves the EoES track and is a match for Bjerre and the others. Kasprzak, Holder and Harris are also strong contenders along with Bjerre. Would like .......... 1 ~ Fredrik Lindgren 2 ~ Peter Karlsson 3 ~ Leigh Adams Prediction ........ 1 ~ Chris Harris 2 ~ Chris Holder 3 ~ Kenneth Bjerre
