Fourentee
www.speedway.org has the names of the three French riders, R.di Biasi, X.Muratet and A.Ellis but no meeting details yet. Dudley Heathens' Ashley Morris rides; best of luck to him and have a good one. A French rider called Ellis, Mark246? That must have some kind of a back story. Main Man
Dudley Heathens' Ashley Morris rides; best of luck to him and have a good one. A French rider called Ellis, Mark246? That must have some kind of a back story. Yes good luck to Ash --once he has got the bike sorted after some nightmare testing. Also hope that he managed to secure a back-up engine which up to Monday night when I saw him and Neil was still up in the air --can't believe that no one has stepped in to offer him the loan of one. RumOldBird
Strange no British riders are listed and I know that one is definitely riding as his dad texted me last night to say he was waiting to for the ferry. I just love the way the juniors are ignored unless someone's complaining about the lack of quality young British talent yet at the same time don't support them when they do ride, as highlighted by the lack of support at the British under 15's Championship. I hope Ashley got an engine sorted and all the riders have a good safe meeting.

Anders
If you hear any results through your contacts could you please post them. Thanks Sorry, haven't heard much. The only thing I know is that Jacob Thorssell won his first heat before crashing heavily in his second, resulting in a broken collarbone and a concussion. He has already left the hospital and they're on their way to Berlin (!) where they'll fly from tomorrow.

danish kitty
From the Dudley Heathens website.... MORRIS FOURTH IN 250CC FINALSunday 11 July 2010 HEATHENS star Ashley Morris finished in fourth place in the World 250cc Final at Slany, Czech Republic, this afternoon. Morris suffered a tapes exclusion in his first ride before racing to four straight heat wins. He then lost in a run-off for third place by just the width of a wheel. Great showing for Ashley.
