Only just got into the Polish scene, but have to say I am becoming a massive fan of Polish speedway.

Both meetings were very enjoyable and Polonia Bydgoszcz, looked far better today than what I have seen of them in recent weeks, but seem to run out of steam halfway through the meeting.

In the other match Zielona were struggling from the off, and Lindgren once again looked poor, already looking forward to next Sundays meetings.

Will there be Extraliga action next Sunday?

I only ask as there's a small meeting on at the Millenium Stadium, Cardiff the night before!!!

There is a full extraleague programme planned for sunday-last year if i remember right the start times were put back-tv match is 5.30pm Polish time-I should imagine the early morning wizzair flights out of Luton will be fairly full !

Enjoyed both meetings 2day.

Must say the racing at Wroclaw is much better these days. keep hearing them talking about a "new track" so what have they done exactly to it??

To me it does look a bit wider on the 4th turn especially so have they taken the racing line in a bit cos thats what it looks like??

Looking a good side this yr are Wroclaw & play offs gonna be very competitive with them Leszno, Gorzow & Torun all looking very good. The league is split in 2 this yr with 4 sides doing well & 4 very poorly. Gonna be a race for the bottom 4 now to finish 5th & 6th & get in2 the play offs at the right end of the table!!

Welcome to the fan club. For quality of racing you cannot beat it. Add the stadiums, the crowds and for a bonus, even the start line girls are glam!

As "Racers and Royals" says don't miss Swedish League on Tuesdays also.(No start line girls in Sweden though) Regards. Alan.

Bradford Ace I think they changed geometry at Wroclaw, new trend is to also make the tracks shorter than in the past examples of that are Torun new track at 325 meters and Gorzow at 329 meters one is new track the other was modified recently. The longest Polish tracks are at Poznan,Rzeszow,Krosno and Tarnow all at or close to 400 meters.

Us Polish league lovers should meet up at a Meeting over there at some point!

David, I would just love that. Being based now in the USA it presents a few logistical and cost problems for me at present,(plus i currently have a broken leg!) but one day... Till then i shall enjoy joining you knowledgeable folks on the net on Sundays and Tuesdays. Enjoy all your various trips. Best Wishes. Alan.

Tune in for the first time last week, don't think it is as good as the Polish stuff, but first time I have seen any of the Swedish meetings so prepared to give time.
