slider
Does anyone know if there's anywhere I can view updates of the GP qualifiers at Ostrow, Lonigo and Togliatti on Saturday? As far as I know the Speedway Updates site will not be doing them. And does anyone know how soon a report of all three meetings is posted up on the SGP site? Midnight_Lady
what a joke I think for some riders there have been visa problems. Ryan Fisher was sent the wrong paperwork and wasn't able to get a visa in time. Kevin Wölbert had a fall in Denmark on Wednesday and fluid has again accumulated on his old back injury. We really shouldn't be riding where it is so difficult for riders to get too. All qualifiers should have the same chance of competing whichever country their round is in - but those in Russia have faced extra problems and through no fault of their own have been penalised!!! Thanks R & R - and yes, a field farce. I suppose those that go through from Ostrow and Lonigo will be laughing when they see the Russian Juniors that possibly end up in the final!!! Or possibly the runners up in those two meetings will be optimistic that the Russians that qualify may pull out of the final and we get a couple more serious competitors through. And thanks very much for the links.

MARK246
So with quite a few riders having visa problems because the Russians sent the wrong paperwork am I just being cynical when I say I smell a rat here The MFR are not always the problem, Russian riders have the same problems when they ride in Europe. The paperwork for the visa's is the government not the MFR, iceracing has faced this problem for years.
Sandie
What a farce at Togliatti - 1 Latvian 3 Polish 1 Ukranian and 10 Russians! And yes - thats a total of only 15 riders in such an important meeting! This has to be the last FIM meeting there. Totally discriminted all other riders for all sorts of reasons! Of to write same on other thread - until the two are merged!!!
