Anders
AFAIK fourteen riders qualify directly via the semi finals (2x7), plus as number 15 one permanent wild card for the three meetings series t.b.d by the FIM, plus as number 16 one local rider given a wild card once in Poland, another in Latvia and another in CZ, just as is done in the senior SGP series. Don't know who will be the reserves, probably locals as well, as is in the SGP. That would make sense. Could it be too much sense for the sport of speedway? Not that it matters much, but who was third in heat 15 in Krsko? Sportowefakty.pl has Matej Kus listed as third ahead of Simon Gustafsson, but Speedway.org has Gustafsson ahead of Kus? It doesn't change the final standing, but it should be correct...

In my hand I have as an official FIM paper as they get that says "A FMNR of a final serie meeting is ensured to have a rider in its meeting. 2 WC+ 2TRR" So that would make it 2 wild cards for each round, free of choice + reserve's. Sportowefakty has it correct, Kus was third. Heat 15 was the heat of the night with many passes. Kus was fastest from the gate and took the lead, but it only took super fast Bogdanovs less than one lap to get in front. Hougaard and Kus then fought a hard battle for 2nd place with the Dane eventually taking the 2 points.
BobC
I really enjoyed the Landshut meeting. There was plenty of action, plenty of inside and outside passing. I bet Mroczka is feeling really stupid right now.We all thought his bike packed up at the end of lap 3.The two points would have been enough. It hadnt. He says he stopped because he thought he had done 4 laps.Serious error on his part,as he failed to qualify. It does explain why he was so angry in the pits afterwards. He kicked his tool box, bike and his chair almost hit another mechanic. Shame Kyle didnt get at least one ride.Im sure he would have been amongst the points. Excellent organisation by the Landshut club. They made us all very welcome.
