shoestringtours
I have just read some unofficial news they might build some extra, temporary stands for the Bydgoszcz Grand Prix. Their capacity would be around 5'000 so the Bydgoszcz club could sell 5'000 tickets more I guess this would be something similar to what they have mounted in Monaco for the F1 race. Anyway, if anyone of you missed their chance for buying tickets, there might be some extra tickets on sale soon. PS. I'm going on holidays tonight and will be offline for 2 weeks so if anything re above - try to ask any other Pole on this forum as I won't be able to reply I'd like to know where they would put them !!! B52
hi im desperately looking for 2 tickets. is it completely impossible to get anywhere? any answears would be highly apreciated! Mateusz has just posted on his facebook page that an additional 3636 tickets will be available for Bydgoszcz. From the stadium plan it looks like 6 temporary stands will be built, 3 on the back straight behind sektor b, 1 on the third bend entrance and 2 on the exit of the fourth bend. Mateusz
www.kupbilet.pl 3636 extra seats on 6 temporarily built up stands on the stadium crown. The best possible view over the track and the whole stadium. Each ticket is a numbered seat and costs 200 zl. Sale is to start at 8.oo am (Polish time) this Thursday (16th Sep) on the above website. And I guess it won't take long until all the tickets are sold out (even despite this high price) - blame Mr Gollob Edited September 13, 2010 by Mateusz
Fingersfin
Mateusz, We have sector B tickets I seem to remember that from previous threads, you have to get into the stadium really early, to guarantee your spot on the back straight. So my questions are 1. What time would you recommend? 2. Can you buy drink within the stadium while you wait? or can you smuggle booze in? 3. Does it get a bit hairy guarding your spot? as I heard that some groups of supporters tape off large areas of the terracing, is that right? Fingersfin, Mateusz will no doubt give you a top response as per usual but here is my 2 bobs worth based on 5 previous GPs at Bydgoszcz. 1. For gates opening - usually 3pm if I remember correctly. 2. You can buy beer in dedicated areas behind the 3rd bend, not allowed out of this area. I have sneaked bevy in twice but also been caught once. So it's worth the gamble..... 3. I have never had a problem in the Polonia Stadium, worship TG, join in the singing / chanting and all will be well!
Fingersfin
Cheers B52. 3rd bend sounds like a good shout before moving onto the back straight. Will be cheering grumpy crumpy on in Italy as I would love Tomasz to secure the title when we are there.
Mama
During league matches beer areas were also behind back straight - but I'm not sure about GP meetings ...

I got my Sektor A ticket in the post this morning, but was just messing about and got onto the Kupbillet site and there were red seats in Sektor A still available, I was offered a 180 Pln Seat in section IX number 4546 and it was in my cart ready for ordering at 12:00am... just before posting this. My advice is keep trying. Edited September 16, 2010 by BongoBrian

rach
this whole system seems a bit backwards to me...navigated my way around the confusing website, finally figured out how to reserve my tickets, went to the bank the next day and sent the money, so my money is floating around somewhere between here and poland and i don't know when i will get confirmation of the tickets or how long they will hold them for? :S
