Midnight_Lady
Let's face it. The Russians send out the wrong paperwork to a few of the riders and surprise surprise Russian riders take their place! The FIM really need to look in to this farce. Sandie
What a farce at Togliatti - 1 Latvian 3 Polish 1 Ukranian and 10 Russians! And yes - thats a total of only 15 riders in such an important meeting! This has to be the last FIM meeting there. Totally discriminted all other riders for all sorts of reasons! Of to write same on other thread - until the two are merged!!!
ladyluck
To be honest, if I were a rider I'd have made my excuses (whether real or not) and bowed out unless I thought i had a better than realistic chance of qualifying through. It's just not likely to be cost effective. Probably cost two or three times as much to ride as the FIM are paying you. The problem here is that the FIM pay a pittance. It's the same in the GPs and riders like Harris and Holta moan but ultimately accept it.

ladyluck
This season's qualifiers could turn into a real disaster for BSI Speedway. As things stand, all three Danes are currently in the GP top eight, along with all three Poles. The final is being staged in Vojens and the last time it was there Pedersen B, Iversen and Dryml qualified, with Bjerre just missing out. This time around the Danes look weak, but NKI is still in with a shout and I can see numerous Poles making Vojens - already a couple from Togliatti and likely to be more from Ostrow and Lonigo. There could be a big squeeze on the nominations, especially if Sayfutdinov doesn't manage to claw his way into the tope eight on his return. NeilWatson
T H Jonasson started off flying in Ostrow few shocks already. Do you mean 'few shocks already' (everything is going as expected), or 'a few shocks already' (the unexpected is happening)? Not being picky :-)

Fourentee
You don't need to send your passport to get a visa for Russia. The embassy in London or Edinburgh will process a visa in a day. The paper work is a problem but in the last few years the MFR has become a lot better in solving the 'red tape' troubles First you have to get into the embassy. Klindt and Madsen spent an entire day in Copenhagen, paperwork in hand, and were told to come back the following week...when they were racing in Britain. He's down for the Lonigo qualifier.
