Vicar
In many countries if someone wants to become speedway rider and wants to have rider licence has to just buy it. But in Poland there are exams for speedway rider licence. Such exam was this week in Częstochowa (first exam in this season). 14 rider of 15 passed practice part. There are not known results of teorethical exam yet, but usually everyone pass it. So new Polish speedway riders probably are: 1.Bartosz Zmarzlik, Stal Gorzów 12.04.1995 (talented) 2.Piotr Pawlicki jr., Unia Leszno 30.11.1994 (talented, brother of Przemysław Pawlicki) 3.Mateusz Wieczorek, KSM Krosno 09.03.1995 4.Patryk Dolny, Polonia Piła 06.11.1993 5.Dawid Wiwatowski, Polonia Piła 02.07.1991 6.Karol Szychowski, GTŻ Grudziądz 13.11.1994 7.Łukasz Bojarski, Włókniarz Częstochowa 26.10.1992 8.Artur Czaja, Włókniarz Częstochowa 23.01.1994 9.Adrian Ojczenasz, Polonia Bydgoszcz 21.04.1994 10.Mikołaj Drożdżowski, Polonia Bydgoszcz 11.03.1993 11.Łukasz Wieliński, Polonia Bydgoszcz 07.04.1993 (talented) 12.Adrian Cyfer, Stal Gorzów 21.05.1995 13.Arkadiusz Jendrej, KMŻ Lublin 28.08.1989 14.Damian Michalski, Unia Leszno 15.01.1995 (talented) Didn't pass: Radosław Małuch Polonia Piła 06.01.1994 Edited June 11, 2010 by Vicar

arnieg
Interesting to see some of the names from mini-zuzel coming through (following in Szymon Wozniak's tyretracks). Will there be a meeting for new licence holders like last year's Hopes of Polish speedway?
pawel115
Yes you have to be affiliated with club basically they have speedway school for new riders where they train them, fit them as far as i know everything is provided to you bike ,leathers you just have to show up if you are no good after couple trys they will politely tell you this sport is not for you most riders that are later good been around motorcycles long time since very young(mini speedway, motocross etc.) Tomasz Gollob was very good in motocross(he was i think 5th in 1987 in polish championships) before he switched to speedway.
