Bavarian
Looking at my Speedway Star 2010 yearbook. John Davis, is not listed as Argentina champion in their roll of honour. But the list of winners in that Speedway Star Yearbook is incomplete. The 1970's and early 1980'S results are missing / unknown. I have heard about one of our German riders Stefan Deser having won the Argentinean championship in ca. 1981 or 1982? (but I am not exactly sure in what year)

speedyguy
Probably because he's English. That'l start world war three I had links with John Davis in the 1980s - my wife who is Spanish used to translate material from Argentina for him at one stage. I also had contacts with Argentine rider Juan Carlos Curzio at one-time. I do not remember john Davis ever winning the Argentine Speedway Championship.
