spin king
Said so. I certainly remember those comments when I post that we would be Dark Horses, but the fact that Josh is riding really well and Ash is a Oak Tree track specialist, I always had a hunch that we would do well, a fact back up by yourself. Najjer
They didn't just do well, they did bloody well. What I'd give to see them both in Somerset colours next year - I'd say it's very likely that Ashworth could be heading our way though. Out of interest I said it'd be a Sheffield and Newcastle final, and but for Kenni Larsen's retirement against Birmingham then it's possible that might of happened. Murray93
Well done to our southern counterparts, certainly a shock and a well earned victory. Also well done to our boys, Edinburgh who??? , i recall a certain rider saying the following quote "It was like taking candy from a baby." . Anyway well done to all involved and roll on the fours. Drac
I think we will be definite dark horses, and I think that we might provide a few shocks along the way. How true

kelvyn william hemborough
Well done sheffield from a very proud rebels fan absolute brilliant night, talking to loads of fans tonight and no one slated the track or the racing which really made me proud. Loved the sheffield fans after the meeting in the pits you lot were so nice and gracious in victory, no arrogance about winning, same goes to the glasgow fans who were gracious in defeat against the rebels. And also thanks to the rebels promotion for a great night
bluejam
Of course Commiserations to the Brummies, I am sure that they will go on to win some silverware this season. I did remind your promoter of who you were riding against this coming Wednesday!
bluejam
Congratulations to Sheffield. I bet my mate spin king has a great big smile on his face Very poor show from the Monarchs What was poor ML was that Mr Fisher didn't even wear his teams colours and withdrew from his last heat when representing his team!A smack in the face to all the Monarchs fans that were at the OTA earlier.I thought he was a professional speedway rider!! Jeez Parker Legend basking in a "win by nickname association" noo-thats a tad sad! Yes our Monarchs pairing had a 'mare of a meeting, but thats just the way it goes sometimes.Roll on the fours indeed... Ah another Ryan Fisher lover comes out the works, and from Birmingham of all places-quelle surprise! Still rather have the Fish in my team faults included.Unlike some riders he is worth the price of admission most meetings. The pairs is pretty much a diddy competition these days anyway.Saying that though- well done to Wee Josh and Steve Mac Donald on their unexpected victory

Young51
Very good pics, idh. Doesn't the track look rutty though? The track looks like Portobello beach after the tourists have been clumping about on it all day to be honest.Nice photos tho'!Bucket and spade anyone? My local track is Rye House so I've probably forgotten what dirt on a track looks like.
