tarabanko
To the memory of Tommy Jansson, Smederna and Wimbledon Dons rider. http://translate.google.com/translate?js=y&prev=_t&hl=sv&ie=UTF-8&layout=1&eotf=1&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ikarossmederna.nu%2Findex.php%3Fpage%3Dnews%26newsid%3D1627&sl=sv&tl=en Edited May 20, 2010 by tarabanko
liverpool chad
RIP Tommy Jansson, 34 years on, but i can still remember it as if it were yesterday. Speedway was robbed of one of its brightest stars and speedway fans were robbed of seeing memorable battles between Tommy and the likes of Collins, Olsen, lee and Penhall as Tommy matured into a world class rider. And of course Tommy IMO was robbed of a world individual title that was coming his way in the late seventy's! As i have posted before, this rider was as save as house's on the track, a joy to watch and very affable and unassuming off the track. THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES TOMMY JANSSON Edited May 20, 2010 by liverpool chad

iris123
Certainly consider myself lucky to have been able to have watched Tommy race often at Plough Lane and even the once at Wembley in 75.Was a great speedway rider and always had time for us youngsters lining up to get his autograph after the meetings.A very special person RIP Tommy
cityrebel
tommy and ronnie moore were my favourite wimbledon riders. i can remember going to school and being told by my friends about the accident. i was so upset i could not face going to the following weeks meeting against swindon. in my opinion wimbledon speedway never recovered from his tragic demise.
