mervjankefanclub
Cheers for that, Steve. Looks like the bold Jan rode over here longer than I thought, he actually wasnt a bad rider and I seem to recall him turning in a match winning guest appearance for Glasgow one year ......or maybe that was Michael Teurnberg, because I know he definitely did

ben5rokz
He quit speedway in the year 2000 because he lost the confidence that he had in 1997 - 1998, I believe in 1997 he was 9th in the premier league averages at one point. I've never known what place he finished at regarding averages. -Ben Edited September 23, 2012 by ben5rokz

arnieg
I saw Sigvart Pedersen for Reading? Norweigan, signed for Racers in 1979 'On May 7 Siggy Pedersen broke a leg in the second half at Exeter. He did not reappear until the start of 1980, when after three early season challenge appearances for Reading he drifted on to Eastbourne and then Wimbledon. Pedersen's 1979 Racers form was ambiguous, just a point from six away matches, but a healthy 6.09 average from his seven home fixtures. (Most of these were Spring Gold Cup appearances.)' from Tears & Glory
