National League Four Team Tournament

Looking on RDC Promotion's site, theres a stockcar meeting at Mildenhall on 29th May.. then not another until June 12th. So hopefully, the track can be decent for the 4TT.

What's the format, please, and how many heats? Two eight-heat semis and a 12-heat final, or 16-heat final?

Is it four-man teams plus a reserve or five-man teams a la SWC? Or what?

Format will be identical to the last one held (at Stoke) in 2008.

That's two eight heat 'semis' (with heats from each held alternately in this first part of the meeting - advantage being no-one ever then has two rides on the trot); followed by an EIGHT heat Final.

Teams are FOUR men, no reserves.

Have copied this in the other 4TT thread over in the 'Testimonials' (sic) section.

Thank-you. As an NL newbie I'm glad that you enlarged on the "format same as at Stoke" line, which wouldn't have got me very far.

There's a 4TT thread on a non-National League forum? :o And the forum is called "Testimonials"? :o How did I miss that? :o:o

I have added the points scored at the last meeting they had at Mildenhall if within last 3 seasons (excluding bonus points and any double points).

So the averages it comes up with are as follows -

Isle of Wight 5.90

Rye House 7.33

Dudley 8.89 (from 2 riders only)

Kings Lynn 6.75

Buxton 8.21

Mildenhall 7.76

Bournmouth 5.65 (assumming double for Mills PL points)

Weymouth 6.32

Mildenhalls recent form has been excellent so they have a chance to make the final, just such a shame that we are missing Hart for this meeting.

Now that the lines ups are known I would like to revise my original prediction a little. From the first semi final I see Rye House and Dudley qualifying and from the second Buxton and Bournemouth. If Adam Allot performs well I can see Buxton being the winners if not then Rye House (unfortunately....) lol.

Clicked on the 'Events' tab on the BSPA.. apparently, this doesn't qualify as an Event, as it isn't listed with all the others Fours, Pairs etc events. Hmm.
