National League Four Team Tournament

Can see Newport winning this one... No, wait, they wouldn't let us enter.

 I was thinking the same thing whilst looking at the line ups. Any of our 7 could be put in here and win it and that's no lie :(

But you're not in it, you won't be winning it, there's nothing you can do about it, so move on and change the record.

What's that, like the Premier League in 2009 and 2010?

I knew you'd be next to comment :P

You know that these Hornets are much better than any previous Wasp team fielded. The Hornets are going to win more away than they will lose and i doubt they will be beaten at home at all.

Obviously this isn't a biased point of view because other fans (PL and NL) have said how Newport should be in there and made a joke that the BSPA didn't put them in there to give others a chance.

Now that the lines ups are known I would like to revise my original prediction a little. From the first semi final I see Rye House and Dudley qualifying and from the second Buxton and Bournemouth. If Adam Allot performs well I can see Buxton being the winners if not then Rye House (unfortunately....) lol.

My first reaction was that the Cobras line-up looks very strong.. Mind you it would've IMHO have been stronger with Marc Owen in it!

But the Buccs have a tasty line-up too. The FTs are flying (with Jerran in the home team would've walked it..) and yes, several other teams are strong.

As I said, too close to call..

Yes Newport should be there too but I don't agree that they'd have a side so strong as to make winning anything like a formality...

Sorry to trouble you, but do you mean the same Mildenhall side that lost at home to Buxton (ok, Lord Jerran was missing, but Darren Mallet guested and scored 13, if Jerran had rode and scored 15 it wouldn't have changed anything)

Stick to moaning about where threads are, as you appear to know for call about speedway

Hmm, you seem in rather prickly a mood...

So your assessment is that ATM the Fen Tigers are NOT flying (NOT when they lost in the KOC home and away to Buxton but as I said, ATM..)..?

Even though that includes home wins over Rye House and Plymouth and away wins at the Isle of Wight and, er, Dudley..?

You were saying...??? :rolleyes::unsure:

Aye all those results talk about what Buxton do at Mildenhall

But Buxton scored 30 of their 49 points from reserve so hardly releavent to the Fours?

Plymouth,Newport & Scunny are the three missing sides... An issue of travelling I guess for Plymouth & Newport to some extent; though IMHO, the 'stand-alones' (ie including the Devils) should take priority in an event which by definition has to limited to just 8 out of the 11 NL sides..

Yes we did lose at home to an extremely talented Buxton side but since then the Fen Tigers have significantly improved and I think on the next meeting we should take it a lot closer.
