f-s-p
There might be a change in the Finnish lineup still, as the meeting starts at 10PM Finnish time. Thats way past bedtime for the 17 year old Timo Lahti so it looks like older brother Teemu will get to ride...

TwoMinuteWarning
From USA speedway group: Finland - 48 Slovenia - 47 USA - 30 (Fish 12, CK 11, Kenny 5, Tommy 2) Italy - 24 No Hancock for USA (required by Zielona Gora); No Manzares for USA (too young - under 17)
mdonaldson1957
Many thanks to Nikki and Sandi Feltham for tweeting the results directly from the track. It was greatly appreciated. Finland - 48 Slovenia - 47 USA - 30 Italy -
tomhaines
No Hancock for USA (required by Zielona Gora); How ridiculous, surely riding in the world cup should come first.
HenryW
How ridiculous, surely riding in the world cup should come first. With all due respect, the USA are never gonna do anything in the SWC at the moment. Given the amount of money that Zielona Gora pay Greg, I think they are perfectly entitled to request that he focus on their matches. Having said that, it is pretty pathetic that the USA raced with only 4 riders.

If I was one of the other 4, I'd be a little peed off. Edited May 1, 2010 by SCB
Dekker
He has done this now last 2 years? if thats the case replace the US by Scotland, alt least we would get 5 there. Great news for KL, might see a few Monarchs down for the round.

I think there are a few more Hancock and Fisher fans around than thee are Katajisto fans The Americas would draw a crowd, the Finns, nobody really cares. If Greg had turned up they might have got through, yeah...but they would still have been completely outclassed in the next round, just as the Finnish team will be. Given Greg's recent history of not racing in the SWC, if I was one of the other 4, I would be more peed off that the US didn't expect this and get someone else over to race.
