StevePark
According to the BSPA AGM these were to be announced yesterday. Anyone know anything? All announced "shortly" according to this from the BSPA site: http://www.speedwaygb.com/news.php?extend.5975
shady
Thanks for that. Obviously been some kind of hold up.
comet49
It is on Sheffield's site that the PLRC is there on 26 Sep. Strange that there's been no full announcement, as there was last year. Edited January 30, 2010 by comet49

speedmerchant
The announcement (or not) of this years Super 7even's has been a right cook up from the start for which the BSPA MC could pay a high price.
TheBoroBoy
im pretty sure that hasnt been confirmed... With KL having a round of the WTC, now a British Semi Final, and then the PL4TT, surely this would be too much of a p*sstake even by Chapmans standards although what those standards are !!???? Hopefully the rest of the MC will stand up to him, and make sure there is some fair division of events!
shady
Where exactly are KL going to timetable the fours in though? http://klstars.co.uk/#/fixtures/4537824049

comet49
After all the comments about the Comets having home advantage Kings Lynn seems a strange choice. They hammer teams at home, Birmingham seems to be a fair track and is easily accessible.

comet49
Fair enough..there was an article in the press up here (which I can't find) that said the Comets had lost the 4's, "time to move on" or something similar. It said they would (could?)be at Kings Lynn in the same article. I thought I'd already seen a thread on this regarding home advantage etc and I posted a similar post about Birmingham. As always time will tell.

Peterborough is the proper home of the 4tt - Thats where it should be, not a money making scheme for that ratboy Chapman!

They hammer teams at home, Birmingham seems to be a fair track and is easily accessible. It would be hard for us to stage a Super 7 when we are staging Dudley Heathens matches as well. I reckon if we suffer alot of rain offs we might even see a few of those Heathens moved to Monmore Green so impossible to stage a Super 7 on the existing planning permission. shady
Someone posted on Unofficial Comets in Dec that the fours were at KL. Trying to find out where they got it from.
topaz325
I thought it was announced at the last AGM that the Fours would be held at Kings Lynn. Announced recently that Somerset will host the Pairs in July. Edited February 1, 2010 by topaz325
wjm
Poor show if Kings Lynn have a National Semi Final , One of the PLs better competitions and a World Cup Qualifier. Well done to the Chapmans for applying for the events and what they have done with Speedway at Kings Lynn but.... It would do wonders for the reputations of some clubs if they were able to hold events like this it could really help increasing local awareness of the sport.
