Coventry_Bee
Its in the best intrest though to get it on again, shame they can't just start from whatever heat it stopped at as riders like Olly Allen who have put in a good show tonight. Some people have had a very lucky escape.
TrueBee
Will Josh Auty be allowed to ride in the re-run if he is fit or must the same 16 riders take part?
youngy105
Will Josh Auty be allowed to ride in the re-run if he is fit or must the same 16 riders take part? You'd have to assume it'll be the same 16 riders that started the meeting. Whilst the inclusion of Auty and Mear would strengthen the field it'd be mightily unfair on Richard Lawson and Kyle Howarth to be denied the chance of riding in their domestic final....but no doubt someone at Head Office will do the opposite. Midnight_Lady
Interesting they came to the conclusion it had to be four rides completed as I am sure that wasn't the case a few years back. Mind you it is speedway and the "rules" change like the weather.

Lets hope this was the case

Mind you it is speedway and the "rules" change like the weather. I remember a British quarter final(it could even of been a semi final) being abandoned at Newcastle not that long ago when a monsoon hit Brough Park and I am sure the riders only had completed 2 rides and the result stood Edited May 6, 2010 by KEITH M

Mind you it is speedway and the "rules" change like the weather. It was at Newcastle, after the 2nd staging was abandoned they sent through the top 8(?) after 2 rides apiece, might be mistaken there though. TFI THURSDAY
So can someone let us know the truth for once. Does it stand or not!!!!!!! Half of the sites say no the other sites say yes.
Trees
IMHO Trees, NO. There were still 6 points up for grabs for the likes of King, Woffinden etc and now they will miss out on their National Final. Exactly what I'm thinking, seems now the result may NOT stand??? imfastandfurious
unfair that the result stands from this meeting, some of the best riders are out of the final!! well thats there fault they didnt win there races but would have been even more unfair if riders like frampton and tully didnt make it if it was to be replayed after winning races through there hard work. Trees
Obviously to do with money, was there a decent crowd or not?

I have to agree with you on that, it’s their fault that they did not perform in the 3 heats (not like it was just 1 race they didn't go well) I think the confusion over the result will be between Richard Hall and Danny King as both have 5 points and both never had any race wins and they did not go head to head so can't go on that either. DavyH
Tully has confirmed on the Monarchs Chatzone that the result stands. Maybe one day the fans will be informed of the rules before a competition starts?
lucifer sam
Why is Nicholls the meeting winner? Frampton had an identical record. All the best Rob
