Why has Holder pulled out?

From BEES website :

ADAMS IN FOR HOLDER

CHRIS Holder has been replaced by fellow Aussie Leigh Adams in tonight's Brandonapolis line-up.

Holder has been experiencing mechanical problems in practice and was not confident of putting up a fully competitive display in the meeting.

Thanks to his early notice, we have been able to secure Adams who was not included initially due to his heavy schedule, which has been significantly reduced by call-offs at Poole and Swindon this week.

Adams was the last man to win an individual meeting at Brandon, having taken the honours in the Elite League Riders' Championship last October.

Officially he is working on his bikes which have ignition problems.

Unofficially could it be Matt doesn't want Poole riders risking their necks in meaningless fixtures?

Davey Watt's still riding, so no. Holder needs to get his bikes sorted out pronto.

Could have sworn he came joint first on points in the GP Challenge.

...........must have been getting his average down in the EL meetings then!

We've just had a rain shower here in Coventry, as was expected, looking at the pics the track seems to have held out well, FTM is the top man & will be flat out for this to be on.

A real shame about Holder, there goes my prediction for the final. :(

Still looking forward to this immensely, Adams is as good a replacement as you could hope for in the circumstances.

Or

Not gonna win so not playin

I would have thought if he needs to test bikes this is an ideal time to do it

perhaps the site of pooles number one running a few lasts will cause panic on the south coast..

you can just see some unknown pole being warmed up already!

What rubbish! Considering two meetings have been washed out, i'm sure he would have wanted the practice!

:lol: The only people worried about Holder are the opposition!

An update on the weather would be handy in the next half hour please.

Nice and dry here at the mo a bit overcast but no threatening shower clouds.

It certainly would.

All the best

Rob

It's like a monsoon here, don't risk it stay at home...:lol::P

Just got back into Coventry and within minutes, its started to spit with rain. I really don't see it causing any problems though, it's warm and there a slight breeze and the drizzle and has amounted to nothing now.

Should of been at Somerset Shawn, as per your original plans - It's going to be a right ding dong battle :approve:
