Have there been any matches since the one mentioned above for Moore Park took place and the LAST ONE at Rosebank this tomorrow Sunday February 14? Is the rained off test for Hamilton being restaged or can we count that out of the schedule now meaning there were only two unofficial tests and not three meetings overall for the international teams. To be honest Speedway as a whole in NZ is hard to follow at times.... but they are certainly doing their best and trying to develop the sport once more.... The format of some of the meetings needs a little work, especially like this series (Aldridge and Finch faced each other twice, but didn't necessarily face some of the bigger international riders! ) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

There was no solo racing at Western Springs. They just did a few solo demos - the track was set up mainly for sprint cars, midget cars, etc and completely unsuitable for speedway bikes. All the big city tracks like Western Springs, Te Marua and Ruapuna are all set up for cars now and the bikes take second best. Duel at the raceway Bevan Chapman THE duel between Andrew Bargh and Jade Mudgway could be worth the admission price alone when the two-wheelers take over Eastland Group Raceway for the New Zealand solo bikes grand prix tomorrow. Up to a dozen bikes are expected to turn on a stunning show in the D&D Motorcycles Clean Cut Services GP. Former New Zealand champion and reigning grand prix champion Bargh, of Hawke’s Bay, will start as the man to watch. He won the GP when it was last held in Gisborne in 2007. Standing in his way is Palmerston North’s Mudgway, who has established himself as one of the country’s top prospects. The local challenge will be led by Paul Habib and Lonnie Larby, who have been the standouts this season.
