I would also welcome the KO system back but yes with less riders who should be given at least 4 rides somehow in the meeting. Going back to my original post however with the present format I think the top point scorers deserve to be given preference when the KO stage has been reached. I personally like the current system 20 heats 2 semis and a final but would have 3, 2 and 1 for the final instead of the double points rubbish. Dexter Posted February 21, 2010 Report Share Posted February 21, 2010 You could always organize 20 heats with 2 semi finals and 1 final where top 2 from regular series goes straight ahead into the final and the other 8 battle in semi finals for the 2 remaining places. Or alternatively, you just get one semi final with riders from 3 - 6 and the top 2 qualify. I suppose there are more possible solutions.
