asturmer
Ex Exeter and Aussie team rider, 53 year old Alan Rivett, showed recently that he has still got what it takes by finishing second to Ty Proctor in a meeting at the small and tricky Pinjar speedway in Perth! spiegal
Pop Rivett..one of the nicest guys you could ever wish to meet. He was part of Team australia late 1980's...without exception all teh boys loved him..tremendous character... On a World Team cup in Jarnovia in Czechko he stuffed Roman Matousek up the fence, after we told him to keep clear of him...It slightly went off after that race...memorable Pop. I really hope that life smiles kindly on him, as he is and always will be a Top Bloke.

spiegal
Did he ride a bit at Peterborough ? Not for th team...his best years were at Exeter..where he remains a legend even 20 years later..Pops at the County ground was worth the admission alone. Bavarian
Rivett was a class act, but he was a KIWI, only living up in Queensland. Didn't he represent both Australia and (later on) New Zealand in Internationals?
Ron Butler
Ex Exeter and Aussie team rider, 53 year old Alan Rivett, showed recently that he has still got what it takes by finishing second to Ty Proctor in a meeting at the small and tricky Pinjar speedway in Perth! He probably let young Proctor win just to encourage the lad!
