Shaledodger
Can anyone shed any light on the following meetings/tracks, please? 16 June 1946: Renbaan Duindigt: described as dirt track races but may have been on a 1,200 metre circuit. 18 September 1955: Nationale Speedway Sintelbaan-Races at Gemeentelijk Sportterrein Sappemeer. Races were over 3, 4 or 5 laps with up to 6 riders per heat. Could these have been pony trotting tracks with a cinder surface? Any help will be much appreciated. WIE-JA
I've just looked them up on google earth. The location is a horse racing/trotting track just outside Den Haag NL. Would be great to have some meetings there again, 1200m sandtrack-perfect.
