torpointfanatic22
Well towards the back end of last season there were a few announcements regarding this meeting as to who would be riding. Well the list released in the local press today leaves me gasping for breath if im honest. Although things can change between now and then. The list of riders as in todays paper are... Not in rider order... 1. Seemond Stephens 2. Ben Barker 3. Chris Harris 4. Tai Woffinden 5. Edward Kennett 6. Chris Holder 7. Lewis Bridger 8. Jason Bunyan 9. Mark Lemon 10. Emiliano Sanchez 11. Mark Simmonds 12. Kyle Hughes 13. Tom Brown 14. Paul Starke 15. Olly Allen 16. Bjarne Pedersen Now if that doesnt wet the appetite I dont know what will!! Format is 20 races with a grand final for the top 4.
rob
Looks a pretty good line up! Hopefully they'll be a big turn out of Exeter supporters with there being a fair few former Falcons in the field.

Pirates Of Poole
As Chris is riding what is the chance of Darcy adding to the field?
tiger of trelawny
I've just received this press release which states that plans for Seemond's Benefit meeting have been put on hold for 12 months. "Plans to launch the Plymouth season with a meeting for Devils skipper Seemond Stephens have been put on hold. It had been intended to stage an attractive meeting at the St Boniface Arena on Easter Saturday with a number of Elite League riders expressing their willingness to turn out for the popular Cornishman. It seems, however, that the necessary permission from the sport’s ruling authorities has not been forthcoming. Stephens is opting not to comment on the situation, but the latest situation is that plans for the meeting have been shelved pending an application for Stephens to stage a meeting sometime in 2011." Apologies for this turn of events. Thanks to all those individuals and companies who expressed their support for Seemond and this meeting. Best regards, Gary Spiller Plymouth Speedway.
