iris123
Yes.Looks like a baptism of well,er .....water for new track man Olsson.See how well he and his team cope with this lot.Hope for those that travelled that the meeting is on.But it doesn't look good for a decent GP even if it is
Rob B
Think the organisers have missed a trick not having covers on and pretty stupid of em to be so naive in my opinion. We r 10 min walk from stadium and walked it this morn to pick up the tickets and it's rained non stop since, some 5 and a half hrs and counting!!! Will b gutted if it's off but looks like it at present. Just hope they manage to work on the track if it ever stops raining and gives them the opportunity to do so!! Problem is it is a temporary track which doesn't have proper drainage so won't be able to cope with the rain as well as permanent tracks. I know what it is like, I was at Gothenburg in 2004? when it rained a lot during the day started the GP and was called off after 4 heats as the track was spongy. Ghostwalker
http://www.svenskafans.com/motor/speedway/...l.asp?id=355244 according to this article there is no problem with the track at the moment. The track is said to only have a little moist on the surface and unless there is major change in the weather there shouldn't be any problem. coma
Been walking around in it this afternoon. Didn't really get that wet. Should give the track a nice even watering and ensure we don't get the clouds of sahara dust like last year. That was beyond a joke!
