racers and royals
Neither the GP or the Millenium stadium websites have any reference to the start time for 2010.I thought the 5pm new time worked really well this year.I hope it doesn`t rivert back to 7.00. maybe tv viewing figures were affected by the early start time. Beeone
Yeah, when it was first announced that was the time but it seems to have disappeared from all the media info. I may be wrong but I seem to recall that the date for the Cardiff GP 2010 was put back by a couple of weeks to avoid Englands group games in the Football World Cup. Could it be that IMG are waiting for the full draw to be made in the hope that they can avoid clashing with an important match in the next stage of the competition. After all the time in South Africa is the same as here, so maybe if the GP started at five in the afternoon like last year, they may overlap with an afternoon match, or may possibly avoid overlapping with a night time fixture. Moving the start time by an hour or two could make a big difference as people could maybe catch the football in the pub or their hotel before or after the GP. I may be barking up completely the wrong tree, but I just thought it may be a possibility

I guess not then, I don't think many people would be desparate to watch that. Even if England happened to be in it , they wouldn't know that until the week before

lucifer sam
whilst others will watch any football on at all during World Cup month. Not if they've already bought a ticket for Cardiff. What does the 3rd place play-off mean? It's like having a run-off at the end of the GP series for 4th place. What's the point? All the best Rob
