lucifer sam
What do you think is the best GP? Apart from Cardiff?! Is Cardiff the best Grand Prix? Good atmosphere, good craic in the pub beforehand, but the track veers from totally awful to just about adequate. All the best Rob
Mateusz
Torun may be really cool.
marcel
tbh the atmosphere at cardiff is good, the stadium is good too but the racing each year is not normaly much good
WembleyLion
I guess it depends what you are looking for. If it is a nice weekend away at an easy to get to destination (with some Speedway thrown in) then I would certainly recommend both Copenhagen and Prague. pugwash
As an all round package, Wroclaw would be my choice. With the introduction of Torun and Gorzow I can't see it reappearing on the calender in the forseeable future.

All the best Rob Got to agree there Rob, Cardiff is a good weekend away for a few beers, great atmosphere in the stadium and some Speedway thrown in but not one of the better ones for the racing, usually the Polish GP,s serve up the best on track action. RPNY
I do love the Cardiff GP, year in year out I think its a fantastic day. I also really enjoyed Krsko, although the year I went (2006) was widely regarded as one of the best GPs ever. Think its a shame that its no longer on the GP circuit. Copenhagen was a lot of fun. great stadium, good track and 20 odd thousand drunk out their mind Danes were v good entertainment. One I thought was awesome tho was Stockholm. It was a cracking GP, nice little stadium & a beautiful city to visit. Couldnt believe it was never used again.
johnc
When it is prepared properly, Leszno provides the best racing of any track on the circuit. Having said that, the previous two GP's have been unusually slick compared to normal........anyone remember the World Cup meeting in 2005 - an amazing night of speedway. Have to agree with the comments regarding Cardiff, the "carnival" atmosphere outside the stadium is fantastic......the stadium itself is wonderful and the atmosphere inside is breathtaking.............but............the racing is poor in my opinion. As you walk away from the stadium (£50 lighter) the memories are not of the atmosphere or the stadium, the memories are of dangerous ruts, riders being scared to come off the white line, lack of passing etc..........that's not right is it? Couldnt believe it was never used again. the reason to why Stockholm's Olympic stadium was not used any more was because they city of Stockholm spent allot of money on new running tracks since it primary is a track&field arena (with some football as well) . With the new tracks a ban was issued in which it said that it no longer was allowed to cover the tracks. Therefore the GP was moved to Eskilstuna. A fine track (pf the same length as Leszno and P'boro) and stadium but without enough support from the city the GP was "doomed" and was moved again now to Gothenburg. fatface
Czech - Prague is always a pleasure to visit, the track itself is so-so Italy - Lonigo is very quiet, but fun and friendly Latvia - Daugavpils was possibly one of the worst towns I have every been to and a swine to get to. Pity because Riga is cracking. Poland - Bydgoszcz has a great track, great atmosphere and the town is lively enough to enjoy yourself Slovenia - Lljubljana was a joy of a place to visit, the only problem was getting to Krsko, all in all, though a smashing trip My personal fave would be Bydgoszcz. You camn get direct flights (so no messing about once you arrive, as in Latvia, Slovenia and Italy) there's fun to be had in the town and you are virtually guaranteed a superb atmosphere and great racing

Paulco
The best is yet to come . Once we have a Scottish GP at Hampden Park , that will blow all that Polish nonsense away .

Paulco, I'm not sure if that would be a good idea. I'd probably be paralytic by the time the meeting started. And I think Mrs Paulco might have something to say when you rolled in at 6am the following morning. The GP at Cardiff is already dangerous enough for you, with all those tricky pavements.
