Jacques
Rico can gate ....simple as that a must on the slick big tracks ....As i said Harris is not the best of british outside britain the facts tell you that . No way is Harris ever going to do anythink in gp's when the tracks are set up as they are now . Over the fast few years, we've seen NP and Crump become World champions because they can ride every track. You are not going to do it if you can't. He has got to sort it out, he say's he's working on it - we'll see what happens .

It's not just a question of riding the tracks he just can't gate well enough at this level ....people rarely cure that .

It has improved a little bit . The problem is, it's a, will he won't he scenario time and time again. That's not just GP level it's EL aswell. I'm often saying at meetings, " come on Bomber gate, gate ".

srbramble
It's funny how most of the people who support the inclusion of Harris, have Coventry avatars. Loyalty can be taken a bit too far sometimes.
gaztrotter
I support the inclusion of Harris, he has had a bad year but so much more exciting to watch than Richardson (how dull).

I hope that when he fails miserably, and he will you know, you don't all conveniently forget these statements.

I won't forget and I will support him. As a Wolves fan, my team always comes first, but I would pay money to watch Harris. If you paid me I would not watch Richardson, by choice. That's a fact. It has improved since then, but its definately still his weak point. Hopefully the tracks will be a bit better for the 'true racers' with the new man in charge... No way is Harris ever going to do anythink in gp's when the tracks are set up as they are now . I don't personally see Harris as a World Champion, but he is a tenacious little sod and he says he is going to work at his set ups for slick tracks. That said, Tony Olsson may not set the tracks up in quite the same manner as his predecessor has, he hinted at this in an interview following his appointment. I defininely prefer Harris to Richardson, at least if Bomber misses the gate you know he will try everything for four laps, not suffer the tactical engine failure on lap four if behind! He's never thrown a sickie.. He doesn't whinge....+++++ and the rest! He turns up to every meeting...testimonials included... He's entertaining.. I prefer some one who can get the better results .... i watch Harris get in 4th place and stay in 4th place it's no wonder we don't win anythink with mind sets lke that . 90 % of Speedway is about how good are you from the gate somethink the uk fan tends not understand . This year in the gp Harris has given out zero value to the fan as he has been so far back nothing clever about that .

Ok so you don't like Harris but in his last season in the GP Richardson was certainly more embarassing to watch IMO
