BigFatDave
So turning left on an opposing rider down the home straight at high speed, forcing them into the fence is alright by you You'd rather he went straight on,I suppose? Gollob was inside AJ and ahead of him.
mojo
despite Pearson and Louis telling us otherwise (and I doubt they were even in the Czech Republic, let alone inside the stadium). Just got back - they were there honestly !!
CMV06
You'd rather he went straight on,I suppose? Gollob was inside AJ and ahead of him. I was talking about the incident at Ullevi ( I think) in a previous series in order to remind people of what Gollob is all about. Yesterday was not so much dirty but a desperate lunge from Gollob and probably done so with it in his mind who the fat twit in the box (can't call him a referee) was. Everyone seems to excuse Gollob his 'hard riding' because he is soooo naturally talented yet when Nicki Pederson does it he is the most evil offspring from Satans own loins. I know who I'd rather have in Speedway and that is Pederson because he kinda plays up to his villainous reputation but Gollob is just nasty. stevebrum
Anyone who thinks Gollob was in the right and that fat **** of a referee isn't a cheating ******** are seriously deluded. I'm just thankful (yet again) that AJ hasn't been seriously injured by that animal. Some thinks Gollob was in the wrong, some thing he was in the right. Your an insult to anyone who thinks different

tomcat
You're an insult to the English language And you make me ashamed to be an Ipswich Witches supporter. Gollob is not an animal, AJ left the gap, Gollob went for it, AJ then decided he didn't want to play and down he went. Gollob was in front at the point of the alleged contact and was turning left into the corner. It could have gone either way. The absolute garbage you have spouted on here is shameful at best. I don't know how much speedway you have seen in your life, but this turning left business happens a lot, so why you single out Gollob and for an incident that happened in another meeting, is beyong me. Nicki Pedersen IS the worst of the dirty riding culprits, FACT. Gollob has had more than his fair share of incidents too, so I'm not claiming he is whiter than white, Hans Andersen is another, AJ can stick it about a bit too, when he gets desperate and so the list could go on and on..... The fact of the matter is, it happened, regardless of who was involved, at fault etc, the meeting is now over, the result stands and the official records will show that Tomasz Gollob won the Czech GP 2010. You need to move on and enjoy life... too much anger aimed at one individual is not healthy...

I have no doubt that had Nicki Pederson made the same move then all hell would have broken loose on here and far worse would have been said about him than what I have said about Gollob. The 'turning left business' I was talking about was when Gollob turned left on AJ on the start finish line in a previous series, a move which was indefensible. I brought that up because it was an incident which again involved AJ and he was lucky to escape serious injury. To say you are ashamed to be an Ipswich supporter because of one persons opinion is a bit over dramatic really isn't it and being highly strung will do your health no good either will it
barrow boy
My first reaction was that TG had definitely taken away AJ's left leg but having looked at it again I am of the view that realizing that his leg was being touched he moved it out of the way causing him to lose balance. If he had not moved it he may have been seriously hurt. What was he to do? If it had happened on the first corner most referees would have allowed a restart but as it was not then he had to disqualify someone. Perhaps in such instances it would be fairer to allow a rerun with all 4 especially if the referee himself is unsure. ashman
i think whats wrong here is the referees are not consistant. in the elite league with the same aid of the camera, its most likely gollop would have been thrown out of the meeting . but in the gps anything goes. i have and most of you have seen niki pederson. jason crump at cardiff. thrown out of meetings for just the slightest touch of a leg on an opposing rider.for me the rule is simple to understand. contact and you should be out. Gollob is very aggressive and seems to ride AJ a lot harder than most, i don't know if they have history. I've not seen the head on shot so cant comment on the weekends activities, but last seasons? incident with AJ did show Gollob in a poor light. Maybe the long term GP riders do get breaks from the refs who knows. Pedersen if by far the dirtier rider than Gollob as a lot of the danes antics are clearly planned.
