Main Man
With David Howe unfortunately not yet recovered from his late season injury he has reluctantly withdrawn from both the Scunthorpe Christmas Cracker and the New Year Classic. Steve Boxall now comes into the line -up to replace David at No. 7. Edited December 23, 2009 by Main Man

Pinny
Kevin Doolan for the Winter double - he loves the Newport track and obviously needs to ride fast just to stay warm!! Mads Korneliussen and espiecially Niels Kristian Iversen are very much more than capable of beating Doolan in this one although Doolan flys at Newport. Thought Barker would of cruised to victory in Scunnys meeting though but didn't happen so who knows.
