BigFatDave
whats the weather forecast for sunday? In Mildura its fine & sunny with a top of 31C. In Darwin it'll be hurling it down, with a top of 29C. Don't Pomgolian computers have a weather site?

Don't Pomgolian computers have a weather site? Yes, but some people are too lazy to look at it. They would rather post a message here and get someone else to do it for them. They then spend the next hour hitting [F5] and cursing people for not responding to their question quickly enough.

Pinny
I understand that the Hungarians were due to be staying on the local farm but expected at least 5 of them to be put up! And what does he expect going over the track a week or so before the meeting. The track staff have been working on the track so of course it isn't going to be ready yet! As for the programme cover, well I didn't design it but I know they received permission from Mike Patrick to use it.

Diesel
Actually he is. But to stay with his entourage (all five of them) cramped up in a van in this weather for a week just to ride a weather affected track after he had suffered from frozen hands at Scunthorpe which resulted in him struggling to complete his last two rides was probably just a penance too much to pay for such a privilege. Frozen hands, the poor lamb.
GlasgowGuy
Frozen hands, the poor lamb. Aye, just wait till he experiences Armadale on a 'summers' evening .. hadn't realised Hungary was such a warm place
Paulco
Aye, just wait till he experiences Armadale on a 'summers' evening .. hadn't realised Hungary was such a warm place I don't know mate , he's got a hard act to follow . THJ's bike-kicking routine after his first night at the 'dale will take a bit of beating , and maybe like him he wont be there too often during the summer . Main Man
Well not long now till the Classic and the good news from the track is that all the hard work put in by the track staff over the past week has paid dividends and the track is looking really good. Well done to all concerned!! The temperature has not been as low as predicted and there has not been any heavy ground frost --so it is all looking good!! Naturally it's not shorts and tee-shirt weather so do wrap up warm and come and enjoy the action. Remember gates open at 11am , there's face painting available for the kids, and the action begins with the first race at 1pm promptly. The riders will be coming up into the Wasps Nest Bar after the meeting to sign autographs and a few will be interviewed.... so join us for a pint then. See you then!! There was a frost but not a heavy one. Work has been going on all around the stadium but with the track taking priority .
