some other signings are Zorro stays with Indianerna, Patryk Dudek to Örnarna.

One rumour is that Bjarne rides for Indianerna next year, he have signed with a team but

he do not want to tell which one yet. He will release a pressrelease at December 5th, the day

after Indianernas press conference. Another rumour is Janusz Kolodziej to Elit Vetlanda.

Gollob is negotiating with Valsarna. Rospiggarna (and Vargarna?) are interested in Chris Harris.

Another rumour is Janusz Kolodziej to Elit Vetlanda.

He is now signed for the 2010 season, with an option for 2011. The same goes for Adrian Gomolski, a re-signing from last year's Elit Vetlanda squad.

Junior Jonas Messing has also signed for Elit Vetlanda, a 1 year loan deal from parent club Rospiggarna.

All courtesy of Elit Vetlanda's website.

What is the strongest possible team to put together in Sweden next year.. just to see how much stronger the Sweidhs league is compared to our own Elite League...

Averages can be found here: http://www.speedway.nu/snitt2010.pdf

A team can be build up to 42 points and must have at least 1 Swedish U21 rider.

My "dream team" is:

1. Nicki Pedersen 8,95

2. Niels Kristian Iversen 6,00

3. Freddie Lindgren 7,21

4. Scott Nicholls 5,65

5. Hans Andersen 6,50

6. Morten Risager 3,75

7. Simon Gustafsson 3,93

Total: 41,99

I know having Scott, Hans and Nicki in the same team is a huge risk, but i cant see this team be beaten!

Jaroslaw Hampel 7,91

Janusz Kolodziej 4,97

Nicki Pedersen 8,95

Martin Vaculik 4,35

I would like the chances for "my" team; 1. Nicki Pedersen 8.95, 2. Krzysztof Kasprzak 6.10, 3. Hans Andersen 6.50, 4. Peter Karlsson 5.36, 5. Tomasz Gollob 7.43, 6. Janusz Kolodziej 4.97, 7. Kim Nilsson 2.64 (= 41.95)

Kolodziej won't be a reserve, but a second string, to start the 2010 season with Elit Vetlanda, but he would be an excellent reserve in this line-up. :approve:

Elitserien will revert to the old format with double meetings where the teams

meet each other two weeks in a row.

It is still not clear what the playoffs will look like, more then that the

format with best looser won't be used.

that and other info can be read in:

Any idea when the fixtures are out, i have to decide whether to go to Piraterna v Rospiggarna or Lejonen and would like to stay 2 nights and take in Filbyterna on the Wed too, stay in same hotel in Linkoping from last season.

All Elitserien teams have been sent a draft fixture list, so that won't be very long. Sometime during the upcoming week, I would guess.

Division 1 could take longer, and from what I've heard, I'm not sure the fixture list will be ready in this month.

Hi David

Would you mind letting me know where you stayed in Linkoping as I am hoping to do a Vargarna, Filbyterna, Griparna trip if the fixtures fall into place.

Many thanks

Eddie

Hi Eddie,

I stayed in the Hotell Ostergyllen about 400 metres to the left of the train station.I cant afford fancy hotels at swedish prices so the 480 kroner a night was reasonable and the lovely receptionist let me off 30 kroner when there was no change!

If you are going to those 3 tracks then it would be more central to be based in Norkkoping. I stayed in a private room at the youth hostel there though and of course not driving i planned out where i could possibly walk/bus it from, if your driving between them your life will be much easier as they are really all not that far from each other.

Sounds like a great trip!

All the best

David
