geeze
Just read on another website that Crump only did two laps in practise and was in so much discomfort that he quit for the rest of the day, He is hoping to be ok for tommorow but it has to be encouraging for emil as the last one is in bitgosh( sorry about the spelling). lucifer sam
bydgoszcz Rubbish, it's Big Josh, which is just across the Josh river from its sister town, Little Josh. All the best Rob
Ron Butler
With so much at stake he'll take to the track if at all possible. These Aussies are no wimps! I fear the real question is whether he will score highly enough.
T.N.T.
Crumpy will be riding but he is not happy with the track and is struggling with his injury. Meanwhile Emil and Greg are flying on it and if Emil gets a big score here, the final at Bydgoszcz will be interesting as Emil is possibly better there than Gollob C'Mon Emil !! sjw ministerofport
Jason deserves to be champion this year and he should be a triple champion. If he manages to win the title tonight thats fine by me and yes i am going to Bydgoszcz. Next year two triple champions trying to be a four time winner and Emil and Holder heading the challengers. Think he will do well to score more than 5 tonight and a score of 14+ from Emil could make the final round very interesting

Ron Butler
has Bernie Ecclestone secretly taken over GP speedway? I don't understand that comment, Spook, although I do know who Ecclestone is. Perhaps you'd care to make it simpler for this poor old codger with only two remaining little grey cells, please! John Leslie
I don't understand that comment, Spook, although I do know who Ecclestone is. Perhaps you'd care to make it simpler for this poor old codger with only two remaining little grey cells, please! Well to give you an example from your youth... Remember when Billy Meredith was banned for fixing Manchester City matches in 1904/05? The inference here is that Mr Ecclestone arranges things in Formula 1 to keep the final result more interesting, and with Crump only scoring 4 points through injury, the Speedway GP final result has conveniently become more interesting. sjw ministerofport
Well TNT you were pretty accurate with Jasons points tally but Emil must feel gutted for not scoring more.
T.N.T.
Well TNT you were pretty accurate with Jasons points tally but Emil must feel gutted for not scoring more. Why oh Why did he pick Gate 2 in the Semi-Final ? With Andersen taking Yellow, he should either have gone next to him in White or gone for Gate 1. Having AJ next to him off Gate 2 wrecked his chances on the first corner and its pretty hard to pass three riders that are all scoring well. Had Emil scored 14-20 points last night, then the difference could have been as little as 10 points and while everyone goes on about Gollob and Bydgoszcz ..... remember who rides there every week and practices there when he can ! If Crumpy struggles again, both Emil and Tomasz are capable of scoring 20+ points in the final round and the final scores could make it appear the top three are very close ...... still think Crumpy will get the 7 or 8 points needed to take the title ..... just ! wotnoaj
Looking at the picture of Crumpys arm in the Speedway Star today, I'm amazed he got through 5 heats and gained some points. I really hope he can do enough to protect his lead in the final round, this is clearly someone who still has the hunger to succeed as well as the talent. He must have been in agony. Rob B
For those not seen Speedway Star today here is pic of Jason's arm : Rght on the bicep/inner elbow, very nasty. Scanned from Speedway Star so presume its a Mike Patrick photo.
spook
ouch! its a wonder he scored any points at all........... as a fan I wouldnt be unhappy if Tomasz got the win in the end but I hope the arm improves and JC does enough in the end as he deserves it
21st century heathen
That's an horrific injury. Reminds me of the one Scott had several years ago as well.
