T.N.T.
The World U21 Final is today in Croatia 1 Michal Mitko PZM Poland 2 Nicolai Klindt DMU Denmark 3 Jurica Pavlic HMS Croatia 4 Ludvig Lindgren SVEMO Sweden 5 Patrick Hougaard DMU Denmark 6 Simon Gustafsson SVEMO Sweden 7 Tai Woffinden ACU Great Britain 8 Maciej Janowski PZM Poland 9 Darcey Ward MA Australia 10 Grzegorz Zengota PZM Poland 11 Przemyslaw Pawlicki PZM Poland 12 Lewis Bridger ACU Great Britain 13 Kenni Larsen DMU Denmark 14 Thomas H Jonasson SVEMO Sweden 15 Artem Laguta MFR Russia 16 Vjacheslavs Giruckis LaMSF Latvia 17 Linus Eklöf SVEMO Sweden (Reserve rider) 18 Wells Ricky AMA USA (Reserve rider) The track is owned by the Pavlic family, so Jurica Pavlic starts as favourite, but on current form he will have to go some to beat Tai Woffinden. Darcy Ward, Lewis Bridger, Patrick Hougaard, Grzegorz Zengota and Nicolai Klindt are likely to be close to the top but there may be a few shocks from Artem Laguta, Maciej Jankowski or Prz Pawlicki .... Even atfter this you have some quality riders in Kenni Larsen, Thomas H Johansson and Simon Gustafsson Shame its not in England as this would be a much better meeting than the ELRC was yesterday ! davidba
Lets just hope Pavlic doesn't win as would be an unjust winner after the dreadful season he's had just because its his own track. As well as the Brits will cheer on Laguta, Mitko and Gieruckis to have good meetings so that a British promoter may make an effort to sign them up(The 3 one's i've not seen in action). The rider match ups they have are poor as well, with Ward v Houggard. Should have been Ward v Pavlic IMO. Pavlic could well choke under the pressure, and im pretty sure Ward wont choke!!! TrueBee
Looks like Tai's chance may have gone, not sure what it says, did he touch the tapes?
samthepalaceman2
Looks like Tai's chance may have gone, not sure what it says, did he touch the tapes? That was my interpretation, at least Lewis got 2 points to keep the flag flying Edit: Didn't Tai do that last year in his first ride in the U21's final? T.N.T.
Report from trackside. Nicolai Klindt won heat 1 with a big lead over Pavlic while Tai was excluded for touching the tapes.

Fourentee
Just had a text, Tai's exclusion was for tapes. Can anyone advise on the format here? Is it "old school" 20 heats, most points wins, or the latter-day top two to final, next four to semi ala ELRC last night? Edit: Sorry TNT, posts crossed there. Hadn't seen yours. dirt
Bad luck for Tai, dont know for sure what happened. I wish I could be at the track watching this meeting unfold. whatever happens happens, all I know is Ward has made a typical Blistering start.
