Blazeaway
If the arguement is what Brit is going to get a wildcard, then I agree 100%. He will be the one that is most likely to increase attendances at all the GPs, which is surely not lost on the FIM. What makes you think that? He is just another average rider with potential in Poland and Sweden. Let him achieve heat leader status in all three leagues then he will be ready. I'm not doubting he will be in the GP's one day, just think next season is too early. And anyone that thinks Kennett or Bridger will ever be GP riders must have been at BFD's stash. Mark
Nicholls is better than Harris yet neither should get a wild card. Tai too young and not yet good enough. Another year maybe Eddie K, don't make me laugh, wouldn't score a point unless each GP was run at Eastbourne or Rye House King, that has made me laugh. Big heart but one good show in the world cup doesn't make him a GP rider Bridger has loads of potential for such a young guy but not ready If we get 1 entry I would pick Rico as he did well enough in GP's and has had a good year on the continent. We should see the best 16 riders compete.
Nazza
If a Brit is to have a Wild Card i think Rico should get it just because he's the best around Poland and Sweden. Along with other people I would like to see the top 16 riders in the world compete but who are these 16 riders? I very much doubt everybody will choose the same 16 riders

bruno
if the brains talking then yes rico should get it but whats he gonna do in reality.yes tai might have a tough first year but at least hes got balls.give the youngsta a chance and we could benefit in a couple of years.it might even get kennett and bridger on the pace
frenchy
Anyone know if any of the riders named as possibles for the wildcard for next year actually want to be in it ? Might be worth finding out first before pushing their name. Why not nominate the top Brit from the ELRC (at least there'd be some track time to justify it) ? beesboybert
Got to be Rico for me. Although I think Nicholls is Britains best rider, he doesnt deserve another wildcard after this years dismal efforts. Harris isnt good enough, Woffinden isn't good enough yet. He will be but needs a few more seasons, Kennett and Bridger aren't good enugh. Richardson is performing better than ever, and apart from his last season he actually did quite well in the G.P's. frenchy
How many are in it? Don't know but presumably at least 1 of the track reserves will be a Brit - there you go ! (tongue in cheek BTW)
KrisB
Tai has just dropped a strong hint that he is in the GPs next year. "I want to be in the GPs next year .... busy preparing bikes"

"I want to be in the GPs next year .... busy preparing bikes" I noticed that too..wishful thinking on his part or a hint he's on the shortlist for a place? mervjankefanclub
I may be wrong, but I thought I heard Pearson say tonight there would be two Brits in next years SGP. Cant remember which Brit was being interviewed, but Pearson asked the question, could he be one of them? You can probably tell I wasnt paying too much attention But I am pretty sure thats what he said, but surely they wont nomiate two Brits. Mark
Pearson did say he hoped for 2 wild cards Woofenden said he wanted to do the GP's and was getting his bikes ready for it. So maybe he already knows he is a wild card. strange if he does but what do i know. The interview was with Chris Harris but time prevented a question about the GPs being asked. Hans Andersen must surely get a wild card as it's his first bad season after a few top 5 finishes.
KrisB
With the GP challenge sorted, not unreasonable to have advised the brit or brits who will be given a wild card.
salty
Would be an utter disgrace if GB got 2 nominations again. It's tough enough making a case out for one rider to get it, let alone two. Would also mean a more deserving rider from a different nationality missing out.
