Adder
I fully understand your point of view Adder. However it is the Elite League Riders Championship and all the riders named should be at the meeting. Or given the examples of the previous few years meetings just re name it The Whoever Can Be Bothered to Ride Championship. ThE ELRC has become a tin pot trophy these days that nobody particularly gives a monkeys about. In my view the play-offs should finish earlier and the ELRC run after them rather than having riders engaged in the Play Off Final risking themselves unnecessarily. wotnoaj
I'd be suprised if Crumpy risked this meeting to be honest, too much at stake elsewhere for him, especially with the injury.
Silver Bee
I would be hoping that Leigh and Matej pick up a nasty bug for the 24 hours around this meeting what with it being just a few days before the start of the play-off final (assuming Swindon get there). T.N.T.
QUALIFYING RIDERS: Jonas Davidsson (Lakeside), Davey Watt (Eastbourne), Scott Nicholls (Ipswich), Niels-Kristian Iversen (Peterborough), Chris Holder (Poole), Kenneth Bjerre (Peterborough), Lee Richardson (Lakeside), Matej Zagar (Swindon), Edward Kennett (Coventry), Freddie Lindgren (Wolverhampton), Krsyzstof Kasprzak (Belle Vue), Robert Miskowiak (Ipswich), Hans Andersen (Poole), Jason Crump (Belle Vue), Chris Harris (Coventry), Leigh Adams (Swindon). Reserves: Lukas Dryml (Eastbourne), Adam Skornicki (Wolverhampton). 1 ~ Why should Jason Crump be allowed to enter this meeting, he has only just turned up to the league and gets a chance of being named the top rider ! ..... weird how heat 20 is with Holder and the 2 Belle Vue riders ! 2 ~ Why is Adam Skornicki named as reserve ? ..... Peter Karlsson should be named in the line up having a near 9 average and IF he was unavailable then Adam should take his place (as Tai is in the WU21) ..... Should for example Holder not ride .... will Bjarne or Screen be asked to cover ? ..... or will they give Dryml a place .... even though his average is way below Skornicki's !!! ..... Swindon and Wolves are the top 2 teams this year ... but Wolves have 1 rider in the line up
Silver Bee
Karlsson has clearly said no else he'd be in the top 16 by right. Still, knowing everything about Wolves and riders pulling out of meetings, surely you already know.

Adam Skornicki ! No - it shouldn't, it goes to the next in line from the next club. Karlsson has obviously said no. There's no way he wouldn't be included otherwise, they don't just randomly make up the line up, there's always a statistical basis.
ballinger
Any bets on whose next not to be in the line up ? Let's hope it doesnt turn into a repeat of last years event
21st century heathen
I'd be amazed if Zagar turns up.
T.N.T.
Well Crump looks like he wont be in after all, so who would take his place ?
T.N.T.
No - it shouldn't, it goes to the next in line from the next club. If that was the case, you could end up with 5 from one team, 4 from another and one each from the other seven teams ..... Each team has to have one representative and with PK qualifying as one of the second best, if he cant ride it should be made available to another member from that team .... Adam Skornicki ! Cheekee Raylee Monkee
BSPA make the rules, BSPA made the draw. Who are you going to argue with ? Absolutely. particularly as they make it all up as they go along. I've nothing against Crumpy but his return to BV was to suit his own ends and they fell for it as promoters always do. How he can ride in this which I thought is a meeting for the top averaged riders over the season makes me despair. And as for Crumpy coming back on a white charger to help BV fend off relegation (as if a PL team would ever defeat an EL one over 2 legs) and then not going out in the last heat decider against Peterborough due to a dodgy track (and with him being arguably the best rider in the world) beggars belief. And I bet they are paying him a fortune too. Typhoo may have put the T in Britain, but Chris took the T out of Morton......

No, that's NOT how it works. It's the highest from every club. Then the 6 highest second averaged riders. The next riders in the pecking order go down the list of second highest averaged riders. It's not a difficult concept.

I see they still have Crumpy in the line-up, surely there is no way he will ride with the injury he has, personally I don't think we will see him back on a bike until the last GP (that will cheer up those who thought he should not have been in there in the first place) . I really do hope that not too many of the top guys withdraw from this meeting as it could be a real cracker I reckon.
