I think he will be cannon fodder but he deserves his chance. Bomber and Scotty have had umpteen opportunities and have losued them all up....Richardson for a Wild Card if the organisers want a Brit in the series.

I'd love to see either Richardson. Woffinden or Kennett as a Wild Card next year. IMHO neither Bomber nor Nicholls deserve a place. Nicholls has been seeded in for long enough and I don't recall that he has ever made it into the top 8 proper at the end of the season. Granted, when Richardson was in the GPs last time, he was pretty poor but his form this year has been outstanding - I think he'd be worth a try. He damn sure can't be any worse.

Congratulations to Noddy, Zorro and Hampel. I think Zorro may have flashes of brilliance next year, but I don't think he'll set the world alight. Now Noddy - he's a different matter....

If he gets a WC it will be a complete farce. GB don't have a rider capable of competing apart from Rico.

No it won't. His points in this meeting would make his nomination legitimate if he gets it. Simple as that.

CONGRATULATIONS Chris Holder. So hands up all those who were spouting off that Pavlic is/will be a better rider than Chris............ There's your answer tonight, not a chance in a million years!!!!. :approve::approve:

I find that unbelieveable that Magnus is in the GP's, still everybodys there to be beat, fair play to him.

The points from the also rans in this meeting have never been used to select wildcards before, whats special about Harris

Someone spike your Lucozade there tonight Mike? :P

Not at all Rabs, just got back from Weymouth, just find it hard to believe that Magnus has qualified for the GP's, on the face of it there were far better riders in the field, but as i said, fair play to the man.

Nothing. But a Brit will get in, and his points here mean there can't be any argument against it as far as I'm concerned. Was all for Rico getting the British Wils Card, but if Harris does get it now there can't be any real argument against it.

And at least he was in the meeting - which is more than Richardson and Zagar managed. And I'm much more a fan of Rico and Matej than I am Harris for obvious reasons.

An amazing outcome! JD who has done so well at Coventry before, and Pavlic....the big white hope....both fall like autumn leaves.....as one of the outsiders of the field twice beats Holder to gain the overall victory. You couldn't make it up!

Lindgren 12 Protasiewicz 10. not as simple as what you say.

Yes it is. If either of those two got a wild card there could be no argument against it either.

Lindgren will be in top 8 anyway

He probably will, yes. So Harris and Pepe would be the top two outside the qualifiers and be genuine cases for a Wild Card.

Yes I agree, but you did not mention the above two in your 1st post

Had no reason too. I had originally made a post saying Rico should get the Wild Card for Britain, but seeing the score Harris got in this meeting I accepted that there could be no argument if he got it.

Well I agree with you on Rico. His form from what I have seen in the Polish league this year has been very good.

Wouldn't be so sure , he is only 5 points ahead of Holta in 9th place.

I would hope that whoever doesn't qualify out of Lindgren, Nicki, Holta and Andersen would be offered nominations anyway, which leaves 2.

Lindbacks claims might be weaker with 3 other Swedes now in and it is to be hoped the Brits don't get another 2 picks-surely they only should get one!

As things stand at the moment I would give nominations to Holta, Andersen, Lindback and Zagar, but I am sure a Brit will swipe one of those spots.

Well done Zorro and well done Holder!

Hopefully an extra swede in Zorro doesn't mean the end of a Lindback wildcard

I think it will, unlikely to want 4 swedes.
